I’ve made it a practice to notice the presence of good men in my life - one of whom is my dear friend, Tebza.

In this podcast episode, we speak about men and masculinity in South Africa, what it was like for Tebza to grow up in Hillbrow and the lessons he learned about being a man inside and outside of his house, and how he is charting an alternative masculinity for himself that allows for more play, pleasure and flexibility, while keeping steadfast in his deep desire to stand up for injustice and be a protective presence in the lives of the people around him. 

We speak about the masculine and the feminine, “what even is gender”, and our personal experiences of navigating these solar and lunar energies in our lives in a way that serves us and the people around us…
