Uncertainty is normal and it's quite necessary for growth but it's also incredibly uncomfortable which is why we shy away from it. 

We aim to be certain in all situations before we move forward and the truth is life is never certain so this desire for certainty stops us from taking risks, stops us from trying new things, stops us from progressing.
