  • EPISODE 62: A Compilation of 'Naturally Thin' Eating Habits

In this episode I debunk the lie that the fitness industry teaches about discipline being the key to a successful transformation and how that philosophy has kept dieters on a hamster wheel for years.

Every frustrated dieter wonders why they can't just be more disciplined. They wonder why they can start off strong in the morning and the wheels inevitably fall off later that night.

Generic dieting advice and the "just try harder" narrative is flawed. In reality, most people have tried harder to lose weight than anything else they've ever had to work at.

So if trying harder isn't the answer, what is?

Imagine waking up each day trusting that you aren't going to overeat, that you won't run out of willpower, and you'll go to bed that night feeling proud that you broke the habit of overeating and developed the habits of the 'naturally thin' so you never had to diet again.

How would it feel to be in control of food, instead of food controlling you?

Our habits shape our lives and finding the right system makes all the difference in the world.

Whether you've been a Restrictor or a Permitter in your dieting past, your current habits either work for you or against you.

When you understand the power of a habit, for better or worse, it's easy to see how having the right habits, systems, and support in place is a game changer when it comes to fat loss.

In this episode, you'll discover how to become consistent so you can not only achieve your goals, but you can maintain them with ease.

    You'll learn:

    • How habits have all of the control and developing the right ones will save you years of frustration.

    • How the pressures of life keep you circling the diet drain and how to practice being persistent no matter what obstacles you face.

    • The real answer to sustainable fat loss that leave you feeling in control of food and never go on a diet again (HINT: It all starts in the mind).

If forcing your body into a smaller version of itself through dieting worked, it would have worked by now. It's time to try something different. Something that actually works.

Give this week's episode a listen to learn how.

In this episode, we dive into the relatable struggles of calorie tracking and unexpected weight gain, inspired by one woman's eye-opening journey.

After "mysteriously" packing on pounds, one Redditor — a 27-year-old, 5'8" professional —discovered the culprit: underestimating her daily intake. (You can see the original post HERE.)

With breakfast at 6am, and a long workday ahead, she's already burned through most of her calories by 3pm, leaving just 300 to spare. Sound familiar?

In today's episode, we explore the real challenges of managing hunger when life's schedule doesn't align with weight loss goals — early mornings, long work days, and the temptation to ditch the plan entirely.

From surviving on protein powder to choking down plain chicken breast, or even saying "screw it" and stuffing yourself like a Thanksgiving turkey, we unpack practical strategies and mindset shifts to navigate how to eat less without feeling restricted or deprived.

Whether you're a meticulous tracker or wanting to ditch calorie counting altogether, this episode offers insights to keep you in-control and on track toward your goals.

In this inspiring episode, we welcome Abi back to the show. Abi is 29 and lives in the UK, and previously joined me on the podcast in April 2021, nearly four years ago after graduating from my psychology-based program, Outsmart Overeating.

Growing up, Abi spent her entire life trapped in a cycle of dieting, constantly battling a chaotic relationship with food and her body. But everything changed on the day she searching for an outfit to wear to a celebratory dinner with her boyfriend, and nothing fit.

Despite her frustration, this was a pivotal moment in her transformation. It's the day that led her to lasting weight loss success.

Now, four years post-program, Abi returns to share an update on her incredible journey.

She's no longer haunted by the fear of losing control around food, rarely thinks about meals outside of eating them, and radiates a newfound confidence — boldly rocking a bikini for the first time without a shred of self-consciousness.

For Abi, there was a time when these victories once felt impossible. Like most dieters, she spent her entire life stuck in a relentless loop, obsessively weighing herself five to six times a day.

Today? She doesn't even own a scale.

Tune in to hear how the tools, strategies, and guidance Abi learned in the program released her from the maddening grip of chronic dieting and has empowered with the psychological shifts to live a life where she's in-control, instead of her diet controlling her.

This episode is a must-listen for anyone who's ever felt stuck and hopeless while dieting — Abi's update proves that lasting change is possible.

  • EPISODE 54: How to Stick to Your Diet When You Don't Feel Like It

Have you ever noticed how everyone in the diet industry sounds the same? Everyone wants you to eat more vegetables, get more sleep, drink more water, and exercise more.

I don't disagree with this advice, but here's the problem – it's surface level advice. It's what the frustrated 95% of yo-yo dieters are doing and why they may be feeling defeated.

    This is why they're stuck!

You're trying to make change from the action piece of your lives, but it simply doesn't work and the diet industry is incredibly good at manipulating you into thinking it does by repackaging the same things over and over again.

On today's episode, I reveal what does work for lifelong, permanent weight loss. No foods off limits. No calorie counting. No boring cardio. And after working with over 2500 women in the past 20 years, this has been tested and proven. You're not going to want to miss it!

  • EPISODE 53: Rewriting Your Identity for Lifelong Weight Loss
Today, I'm sharing a mind-blowing idea that changed how I tackle goals — like losing weight for good. When I was struggling to lose weight, I'd always focus on outcomes, like dropping pounds on the scale, but I really struggled with consistency. I've since learned that one of the most powerful tools you can have in your lifelong weight loss toolbox is changing your identity. In other words, I had to take an inside-out approach by thinking of myself differently. I had to think and eat like a 'naturally thin' person by focusing on who I'm becoming, not what I'm doing. In today's episode, I break down the three different layers to this process. The deepest one — identity — is where your permanent weight loss happens. Instead of 'I want to lose weight,' I wanted to become the kind of person who didn't use food as an emotional crutch on a hard day. Every small step, like eating well, proves it to me. Tiny actions, like waiting until I'm hungry to eat, helped me rewrite how I see myself. It wasn't an instant change, obviously, but I was able to be consistent. I decided who I wanted to be and practiced mirroring that behavior daily. Want to learn how to THINK and EAT like a 'naturally thin' person? It's about adopting their inner psychology and eating habits, not just hitting a number in My Fitness Pal. Check out this episode for the full scoop — I can't wait to tell you about this life-changing strategy!
