The concept of intuitive eating can sometimes seem really hard to navigate in today's world. Intuitive eating has completely revolutionized and pushed back against 'diet culture' and this is a beautiful thing! But, now we have this whole population of folks who are struggling with how to navigate intentional eating, along with intuitive eating, while being mindful of aligning healthy eating with their values.
So, in today's part one of a two part episode series, my friends Dr. Erica Castleberry, Licensed Mental Health Counselor Christopher Guider and I will be unpacking the pros of intuitive eating and how this method can be helpful, as well as some of the challenges of intuitive eating and how you can best navigate these challenges.
My hope is that this episode gives you the knowledge, and the permission slip, you need to grab hold of your next steps on your empowered eating journey with the autonomy to decide what you want to do next, and how you want to take care of your body.
