Listen in and hear how they have learned to make time for themselves after years of trial and error.

Today, Coach Alex sits down with Coach Austin to discuss his path to coaching, the clients he prefers, and goals he's accomplished throughout his journey.
For a period of time, Austin's whole life revolved around competing. After earning his pro card, competing was no longer the focus. He got accepted into a 4 month study abroad program and left the country for the first time, leaving competing behind in search of new experiences.
While traveling and having conversations with people who were not immersed in bodybuilding, it forced him to zoom out and figure out who he was without competing. Listen in as Alex and Austin talk on maturing, growing up, and being open to new identities of yourself.
As always, it is our goal not only to supply you, the listener, with valuable insights on the topics or questions but also to plant some seeds for further research and thought. Without further ado, let's get into today's episode.

Today we have a very special guest for the start of our client series, Sydney Shelburne! Sydney has a background in fitness as a three-sport athlete throughout high school. After leaving sports behind—but still looking for a fitness program during college—she participated in fitness challenges. Unfortunately, she never felt like they were giving the results she wanted and ultimately led to burnout.
After switching her major to exercise science, she finally felt like she found what she wanted to do, which led to her becoming a full-time online fitness coach after graduation. Though Sydney is a coach herself, she recognizes that coaches need coaches. After having a few coaches before finding her way to PD, Sydney believes that Alex changed her mindset on bodybuilding as a whole and helped her find her love for training again.
Listen in as Sue and Sydney discuss her path to fitness, competing, and coaching. Also, be sure to wish her a happy birthday!
As always, it is our goal not only to supply you, the listener, with valuable insights on the topics or questions but also to plant some seeds for further research and thought. Without further ado, let's get into today's episode.

Today's episode is a free-flowing conversation on mental health. We truly believe that health is wealth and it's important that we focus on the whole picture. Mental health determines how we act, react, take care of ourselves, and the habits we put into place.
Life isn't always perfect and sometimes our mental health can suffer as well—so today, we are getting vulnerable (which isn't always easy to do). As husband and wife, Alex and Sue have to lean into each other when times get tough. Listen in as they dig in and discuss anxiety, finances, owning and running a business, personal goals, and more.
As always, it is our goal not only to supply you, the listener, with valuable insights on the topics or questions but also to plant some seeds for further research and thought. Without further ado, let's get into today's episode.
