It's Sydney Mardi Gras weekend and what better way to celebrate love...than with the re-release of this fascinating chat with Andrew Addie.

Yes, today Vic and Hamish had a chat about alcohol in the gay community and how young LGBTQ+ people often turn to booze when isolated, experiencing low- self esteem or feelings unloved when family don't support their decision to come out. Vic delves into the history of the gay bar and find out why bars can feel like a safe haven for the community, sometimes the only place to feel accepted and how this can lead to too much partying, and Hamish, well, he spends the episode reminiscing about the time he got felt up in a hot tub with his brother.

Unfortunately, for the gay community, Vic and Hamish are straight. (Boooooo!) So they decided to have a chat with the lovely Andrew Addie about coming out, leaning on booze to cope with mental health issues, delivering lube to the masses and what it's like being the only sober at Mardi Gras.
