Today's episode on Redefining Medicine spotlights Al Peters, DO, FACOG has spent most of his 25 years in medicine as a board certified reproductive endocrinologist.  During this time, his main focus was in vitro fertilization (IVF) helping couples who were unable to have children through simpler means. In addition, he has vast experience in academic work including teaching and scientific publication in peer reviewed journals.  Dr. Peters also has taken care of many women with hormonal disorders including polycystic ovary syndrome, female acne and unwanted body hair growth as well as menopause.  Along with his Western methodology his unique approach to patient care blends Eastern philosophies such acupuncture, yoga, and herbology. He earned his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University followed by his medical degree from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  His residency training was completed at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA., followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in reproductive immunology at Methodist Hospital/Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Peters completed a second postdoctoral fellowship in reproductive endocrinology & infertility at Prentice Women’s Hospital at The Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL.  He is double board certified in obstetrics & gynecology and reproductive endocrinology & infertility.

Today's episode on Redefining Medicine spotlights Gordon Crozier, DO. Dr Crozier takes integrative medicine a step farther by using genetic testing to develop a unique treatment plan for every one of his patients. Genetic testing allows Dr. Crozier to get to the root of illness and disease by examining his patients on a cellular level. Instead of using a cookie cutter approach to treatment, he allows your genes to tell him exactly what your body needs to heal. Dr. Crozier then uses that information to recommend a combination of IV therapies, supplements, nutrition, and other natural therapies. Dr. Crozier has successfully treated a wide array of conditions and diseases, including chronic fatigue, tick-borne disease, parasitic infection, and mold (and other) toxicity. Greenblatt, M.D.†, has treated patients with complex behavioral and mood disorders since 1990. After receiving his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Greenblatt completed his psychiatry residency at George Washington University Medical Center. He went on to pursue a two-year fellowship at John Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident and became board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry. During the fellowship, Dr. Greenblatt received specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders that appear in childhood, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and complex mood and anxiety disorders. For the last three decades, Dr. Greenblatt has devoted his career to educating his colleagues, clinicians and patients on how integrative medicine can have profound effects on mental wellness and how to employ balanced, integrative strategies in the treatment of mental illness. Dr. Greenblatt has published multiple books, sharing his clinical experience treating complex mood and eating disorders through an integrative approach.

She is extremely passionate about achieving positive patient outcomes, especially through individualized, innovative compounding therapies. Linda is also in the process of opening her own compounding pharmacy, Pure Pharmacy, in Carmel, Indiana, which is due to be opened this summer. As a functional medicine pharmacist, her specialties include; hormone replacement, adrenal health, genetic and nutritional testing for optimal health and peptide therapy.
