After spending over two years as a fugitive, and another two and a half years in prison on erroneous drug charges, John Harrison became a lifelong seeker of personal transformation, healing, and a student and teacher of Zen meditation.  As a principal investigator for MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) pilot study, John explored the efficacy of the psychedelic plant medicine Ibogaine in the treatment of Opiate addiction. As a therapist, he prepares patients for Ibogaine treatments and helps them to integrate the lessons learned from the dream-visions during a transformative Ibogaine experience. John is also a long-time student of the potentials and limitations of psychedelic medicines in the treatment of various addictions, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, and in the facilitation of personal transformation. He has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and he is currently working on his Doctorate at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
