Have you ever wondered what centenarians do differently?
In 2021, I invited my 96-year-old grandpa, George Mellor, to join me on the show to share how his lifestyle directly impacted his longevity. I am replaying this episode with a heavy heart today, as he passed away recently, shortly before his 100th birthday.
Grandpa George’s Keys to Longevity:
George Mellor's Bio:
George Mellor was my grandfather, who lived for almost 100 years. He was a farmer, and his farm was the first in his region to implement irrigation.
In this episode:
Grandpa George left us peacefully, sharp and witty as ever. He was my last living grandparent, and my son William carries his name as a middle name. I am grateful he did not suffer and is now at peace, and I am thankful that my husband, Eric, got to know him well and my sons, Eric and Mikey, managed to spend time with him.
I truly loved my grandpa George and will cherish his memory forever. He left a profound legacy for his family and community, and I will always be grateful for all he did for his family.
