Build a website and they will come. If only.  It is a mistake many product entrepreneurs are guilty of. Relying on only one sales channel.
Having a product business means you need to find many ways to sell your product.  And ideally you would have multiple sales channels so you are not relying on just one.  Only selling on your own ecommerce site means you  going to paying a lot to acquire your customers.
