The Seahawks missed the playoffs in 2023, ushering in a new era as legendary head coach Pete Carroll was replaced by young first-timer Mike Macdonald.

There's a lot of work to be done as the team entered free agency with fewer players under contract than any team in the NFL. But as we assess things now just one week after the start of free agency, is it possible Seattle's overall roster is actually better than the one that finished the season in Arizona?

I'll make the argument that yes, it is, and with the draft still ahead it has a chance to get even more talented.

College football scout and owner of The Football Scout channel on YouTube, Sanjit T joins the show today to weigh in on the state of the Seattle Seahawks offensive line.

Now that the most pressing needs have been addressed through free agency on defense and at tight end, the offensive line remains as a perceived weakness among fans and analysts, particularly on the interior.

Is there cause for concern about the lack of experience at center and guard? With very little salary cap space remaining, are there still moves the Hawks can make to address it, or will it have to be a priority in next month's NFL draft?

The Seattle Seahawks and general manager John Schneider succeeded in re-signing DT Leonard Williams and TE Noah Fant, but lost some of their other free agents and saw a few potential targets sign with other teams as well.

Christian Caple has been living in the pacific northwest and covering the University of Washington football team for years, so who better to speak to the potential fit of Husky prospects with the Seattle Seahawks in this year's upcoming NFL draft?

And this is no ordinary UW draft class....a record 13 of them participated in the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis last week, and there's a good chance the entire baker's dozen will be drafted, breaking the school record set in 1998 when 10 Huskies were selected.

There are some obvious potential connections with Ryan Grubb and Scott Huff joining the Seahawk coaching staff after two seasons on Montlake - will Michael Penix be a potential target for John Schneider as he looks to solidify the QB position for the long-term? - but are there some other logical fits among the group as well?
