Russell Wilson has never lost three straight games. But he also never lost to the Vikings or lost a home opener, so perhaps we can't trust history like we used to. Historically, the Seahawks have had the 49ers number in this rivalry, but the Seahawks defense is facing a team that has the ability to pick up a lot of yards after the catch with their speed or their physicality. Can Russell Wilson continue his first half offensive dominance against this San Francisco defense? We discuss the concerns from the perspective of both Seahawks and Niners fans going into this weekend's game.

On Wednesday, Pete Carroll and Bobby Wagner were on the podium and both were asked for their thoughts on Richard Sherman signing in Tampa. Bobby talked about how he thought all along that Sherman would eventually be back in Seattle. Looking ahead to Sunday's matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, Carroll (in a roundabout way) compares their rookie quarterback to one of the all-time greats at the position. Schematically, Bobby expects the Niners to run a lot of screen passes based on their recent performance against the play. Finally, Ken Norton Jr. gets a chance to address any issues that he saw coming out of the game against the Vikings on Sunday.

Tre Flowers took a lot of heat from fans posting about the matchup on social media or in the gameday thread on Field Gulls. But there was one play that stood out among all of them that was most egregious, but it wasn't even a play that gave up a first down. Among the more positive moments of this game is a run play that reminded us of the Holmgren era offense and the blocking we'd see for Shaun Alexander. Tune in for the rest as well as the commentary 'from the flock' about some of their thoughts on the most frustrating moments of the day.

Through three games, this Seahawks defense is reminding a lot of us of the struggles that last year's team faced. The difference is that Carlos Dunlap isn't coming in midseason to help turn around the pass rush. Are the issues based on communication like many of the players said was an issue last year, or are this year's problems more about scheme? Pete Carroll met with the Seattle area media on Monday and they tried to get an idea about what the issues he's seeing and if it compares at all with what we saw from last year's defensive unit.

Following Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Carlos Dunlap, Pete Carroll, Russell Wilson and Gerald Everett all spoke to the Seattle media about the loss. The Seahawks offense couldn't get the ball moving in the second half, while the Vikings offense continually had their way against the Seattle defense. Could there be a change at cornerback after this game? Pete Carroll talks about a cornerback who should be ready to go soon for Seattle. Russell Wilson talked about how the team can bounce back for next week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Which if there was any bright spot this weekend, it was watching them lose on a last second field goal to the Green Bay Packers.

The two biggest injuries that are set to have an impact on this game is that right tackle Brandon Shell is out for the Seahawks, and four-time Pro Bowl linebacker Anthony Barr is out for the Vikings. DK Metcalf's emotions were a big topic throughout this weeks' press conferences and he had a series of questions from reporters in his meeting with them and Russell Wilson offered his thoughts on it this week, too. The show closes with a look at the injury reports for each team going into tomorrow's game.

The Seattle Seahawks are back on the road as they travel to Minnesota this weekend following a disappointing loss in the home opener. As a nod to this week's opponent, Phil harkens back to a time when Kirk Cousins asked reporters a rhetorical "you like that" and asks Clinton and Brandan about different scenarios that we would like, that we wouldn't like, and what we'd project ahead if things go as anticipated. We discuss about a number of 'What If' scenarios to look out for this weekend's matchup with the Vikings.

With this new emphasis on the NFL's taunting rule, there have been some extremely questionable calls that have negatively impacted games. How long will this go on? In the eyes of Bobby Wagner, he doesn't believe it can last long the way it's being used so far this season. Tyler Lockett talked about the disparity between the college ranks and the professionals and how it can take the emotion out of a game.

Is it time to prepare for another Seahawks shootout? Tyler Forness, contributor to the Daily Norsemen, thinks so especially after watching the Vikings secondary through the first couple weeks of the season. Offensively for Minnesota it appears that they may have the kind of talent on the offensive line that they've been searching for over the years. However, with a new signal caller on offense, it has Vikings fans already picking apart some of the inconsistencies. Though Patrick Peterson may be on the decline, Tyler says that with safety help they might try and use that pair to shut down DK Metcalf, potentially leaving Tyler Lockett to have another big game.

On most shows, when the Seahawks lose a game after being up 15 points, you're going to get a lot of focus on the negative aspects of the game. You're also going to get that with this episode of 3 IN, 3 OUT, but you're also guaranteed to get three positive moments. Tune in to find out why Clinton believes that, despite scoring 30 points, the Seahawks offense needs to own this particular loss to the Titans.
