Today I am joined by the wonderful  Sophie who emigrated from Ireland to New York for a better life after getting a taste of what America was like on a J1 Visa summer experience.
This is a different type of episode today as we look at what it's like to live in other countries around the world as an expat.

New York opened so many doors of opportunities for Sophie including being crowned the New York Rose Of Tralee.

However, Sophie is very honest about the fast-paced lifestyle that comes with living in a city that never sleeps. She discusses why she had to give up alcohol for her mental health after endless nights out and waking up the night after the Conor Mc Gregor fight in Madison Square Garden with a sad realisation. 

A truly inspiring story on how giving up alcohol has changed Sophie's  life for the better.
