Amanda Nelson is 18 months sober from a 17 year drug and alcohol addiction. Amanda has multiple arrests, a felony, and has tried treatment multiple times. It took Amanda packing up and moving to Florida to get away from her old environments and start a new life. Amanda explains how this was not easy at first. During her first year of sobriety she faced many adversities... car repossession, eviction, deaths in the family, but was able to remain sober. Eventually, Amanda learned how to connect mind, body & soul to live a healthy vibrant life. She is currently writing a book and building her brand "Patched Wangs" and created a Redneck Workout series. Amanda was also recently accepted to Penn State University. "I know if I can have this life, so can others", says Amanda. "I'm on a mission to stop addiction and show everyone they can be happy!"
