Wir sprechen über aktuelle politische Themen und brechen sie von der „großen Politik“ runter auf die jeweilige Ebene die wir repräsentieren. Alex ist als Oberbürgermeister von Göppingen die Stadt, Lena als Mitglied im Grünen Landesvorstand das Land und Marcel als Bundestagsabgeordneter der Bund. Dadurch werden politische Debatten unmöglich, in denen man die Schuld einfach nur einer anderen Ebene zuschiebt. So klären wir auch auf über das, manchmal komplizierte, föderale System in Deutschland. Die verschiedenen Blickwinkel führen auch zu Streitpunkten. Da wir aber alle in der gleichen Partei sind und weitestgehend die gleichen Ziele verfolgen, wird kein echter Streit daraus, sondern ein (hoffentlich unterhaltsamer) Einblick in das politische Geschäft. Zumal wir alle ja auch durchaus trotzdem den Blick für die jeweils anderen Ebenen haben. Dabei wollen wir in erster Linie tagesaktuelles Geschehen aufgreifen aber bei passender Gelegenheit auch mal ein wenig tiefer gehen und „philosophieren“.
