این مجموعه که برای کودکان ۵ تا ۸ سال تهیه شده است، در قالب گپ و گفت‌های دوستانه و هدفمند راوی “دردونه جون” و بچه‌هایی که به صورت خیالی از آنها نقل قول می‌شود، می‌باشد. در هر مجموعه یکی از چالش‌هایی که بچه‌ها در مدرسه و یا منزل با آن مواجه شدند، نقل می‌شود و بعد از ابراز همراهی و همدلی راجع به آن گفتگو می‌شود. مطالب با همکاری مشاور خانواده برنامه تهیه و تنظیم شده است و از طرح درس “راهنمای فضایل، مرجعی برای تمامی خانواده‌ها” اثر john pavlin و lavelin popov در نوشتن مطالب کمک گرفته شده است. مقصد نهایی برنامه این است که به بچه‌ها و والدین برای عنوان کردن و گفتگو پیرامون چالش‌های روزمره، الگویی ارائه شود و بعد از صحبت راجع به آن با تمرین‌های ساده تنفسی و کششی خوابی آرام را تجربه کنند. همچنین یک یا چند پیام کوتاه، با توجه به موضوع برنامه حسن ختام هر قسمت است که راوی و کودکان آن را قبل خواب با همدیگر تکرار می‌کنند، که نقش بسزایی در ایجاد حس ارزشمندی و عزت نفس کودکان ایفا می‌کند.
