Willow had Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that was diagnosed 2 days after leaving her 25 year marriage.  The the discovery process of learning about her cancer she was given 2 1/2 years to live.  

She then began to change her life and through that process she worked to become the person that she always wanted to be and never made time for. She worked on healing her cancer mainly with alternative methods and and now 6 years later she is tumor free!  

Unsure of what the future would hold, I was faced with navigating stage 4 cancer on her own. Her kids were 19 and 20 and when she was diagnosed and Willow couldn’t imagine leaving them. 

Willow had never really followed societal norms, so it was no surprise that she would do divorce and cancer in her own way. 

Willow was brave, she faced her fears and took a leap of faith, and trust that everything would be ok.
