“If you are having self-doubt about yourself, stop for a second and reflect where the f*ck you were this time last year because I promise, you are so much further along this year than the last. You may not be further financially, but you are further spiritually, mentally, physically. You are stronger, you are wiser, you are smarter, you are braver, you are more vulnerable. So stop rushing the process. Stop asking to get to the end result.”
This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we’re talking about an issue that commonly strikes entrepreneurs, coaches and any business owner: self-doubt!
I want to talk about this subject because so many people go through this and we're very quiet about it because, in the online space, we are told that we need to be positive. We need to be the f*cking beacon of hope for everyone and only share our victories, not our struggles.
But what's really beautiful about the online space is that it gives us the ability to do ALL of the things we're told not to do. So in this episode, I’m getting vulnerable about how I struggled with self-doubt at the end of 2019 only to realize that I had to STOP rushing the process and accept that wherever I am now is where I’m meant to be.
Because the truth is, the universe can only work so quickly. She will only give us things that we are ready for, so we need to be patient and focus on finding beauty during the process of earning six-figures or selling out our launch or whatever goal we’ve set.
And I'm not trying to preach and get on a pedestal and say, “I know all the answers.” But I DO know what someone else out there needs to hear right now:

“Because I see it in every single post and every coach posting today, I wanted to get up and kind of talk about this notion of, ‘Oh my God, it's December 1st! It's the last month of the year. We need to go HAM.’ If you don't know what HAM is, it's an acronym: Hard as a Motherf*cker. So I wanted to get up and kind of talk about this.”
This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, our discussion focuses on that pressure that mounts at the end of every year in your business.
I want to talk about this subject in general because I consider myself to be a planner. I love to plan and just sit down with my colored markers, mapping out the future. I like that I’m able to say, “ At the moment, this is what I want, and for the month of December, this is what I would like to achieve.”
But goals can become really f*cking ugly if you’re not careful. In my case, I made this sales goal for the end of the year and I wanted to hit that goal so badly, I became obsessed with it. Everytime I failed to make progress, I’d tell myself how terrible it was or I was. So instead of feeling excited about my business, I ended up feeling very suffocated.
I’m telling you this now because I don’t want you to commit the same mistakes that I did. Because if you do, you’re just setting yourself up for failure this year and for years to come.
So stop putting so much pressure on you to reach your goals and instead, celebrate the f*ck out of December the way we’re meant to. I promise - the end of the year can be amazing. But it won’t be if you’re killing yourself over your goals and you don’t appreciate all the beautiful things happening around you.

"My client and I were having this conversation on our one-to-one call this morning and she mentioned, ‘Oh, I belong to this really big women's entrepreneur group and someone posted in there that Facebook is going to start shutting everyone down who uses their personal page as a business page, who does live videos and who sells products on the personal page.’ It is not like this is the first time that I've heard this scare tactic used."
This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we are talking about the various reasons why using fear tactics as part of your marketing strategy is a misaligned way to run your business.
Realize that people are spitting out this bullsh*t because they want you to sign up with them to create a website, business page, opt-ins, sales funnels, etc. They resort to scare tactics to get you to buy their products.
Then, they will act like they’re selling from a place of concern and a place of wanting to help you. But just by reading through their threads on social media, you’ll know that they’re not.
I don’t like to call people out, but if you’re using scare tactics like this in order to sell your program or your services, you have lost your integrity along the way.
So if you see something being sold using fear tactics, don’t feed into it, don’t read it and don’t pay it any mind.

"I think that a lot of people dwell in so much lack out there, so much of that scarcity mindset. Really, there is a lot of abundance in this market if you just shift a little, try something new and are not afraid to put yourself out there."
Today on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am sharing another interview from the Connection Thru Chaos Series, this time with Kayla Ybanez. Kayla is an Instagram and business strategist for network marketers and online coaches who want to create a sustainable and scalable personal brand online.
Primarily, what Kayla does is teach network marketers how to convert curious followers into loyal, lifetime customers without cold messaging. She started her business from a hospital room where her daughter was fighting for her life. Her family basically lived in the hospital for 436 days straight until her daughter underwent a lifesaving bone marrow transplant in January of 2019.
Kayla was traveling a lot for different events in January and February when the pandemic hit and started to worsen. In February, she attended a retreat and toward the end of the month, her daughter’s Make-a-Wish trip to Disney World and Universal Studios took place. March was a challenging month both personally and in Kayla’s business, and it ended up being a big learning experience.
Kayla considers being stuck at home her biggest trigger since the pandemic started. Because Kayla’s daughter is immunosuppressed, the family doesn’t really go many places that often anyway. However, trying to work with clients while not having answers to many of the pressing questions people are asking has been tricky.
Despite the difficulties, Kayla still manages to be there for her clients who are feeling nervous about selling and launching in the midst of uncertainty. More importantly, she chose to pivot her business rather than give in to the scarcity mindset.
Part of Kayla’s strategy that we can all apply to our own lives and businesses right now is to just f*cking wing it. After all, there is no guidebook on how to run your online business during a pandemic, so instead of feeling paralyzed by that lack of guidance, embrace it!
Allow the current situation to be a time where you can get creative and scrappy with your business. Throw something out there and just see what sticks.
"I believe if you can throw something out there in this market right now, in the middle of a pandemic and it does fairly well, that means it's gonna f*cking crush it in any other market when you launch it again. So, this is almost like a beautiful testing ground."

“I would definitely say use this time to really reflect on your own habits with money. This is a time more than ever to take ownership of your life, your business, your career, what you're wanting to do, including your finances. Like look at how detrimental it was to have your main source of income taken away. What can you do as a responsible human being to make sure that that doesn't happen again?"
Today on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am sharing another interview from the Connection Thru Chaos Series, this time with Paige Cole. Paige is a Stripper Business Coach who teaches stripper entrepreneurs to maximize their hustle inside and outside of the club. She employs a unique coaching approach that incorporates spiritual and scientific principles of money and manifestation.
The week when the pandemic unfolded was hectic for Paige. She had just launched her reality-show-themed channel on YouTube and had more than a few appointments and travel plans set up for April and May. On March 17 in California, the order to shut down all non-essential businesses was implemented and was to take effect until March 30. Things kept escalating and although there wasn’t any official announcement at the time, rumors started buzzing that the community quarantine was going to be extended through April.
Paige shares about how she doesn’t pay attention to the news and instead builds a little bubble of her own world because there’s too much negativity. She also shares the aspect of life that feels most triggering to her: the way some people are exaggerating the situation and over-responding out of fear. Paige understands it’s important to be aware of what’s going on, but she isn’t overly cautious like her family.
Paige’s way of dealing with the present situation includes putting up boundaries with other people, sometimes including her family. One important way Paige put up boundaries was returning to her own house - instead of quarantining with family - so she could isolate in her own “abundant bubble.”
Like many others’, Paige’s business is also affected by the ongoing crisis. However, Paige feels fortunate to still have an income coming in because of her online business and believes now is a great time for people to consider creating multiple streams of income so that they can be better financially prepared in case something like this ever happens again.
So if you’re in a shitty position right now, let yourself feel those emotions and how much it sucks. But also know that you’re not going to be in that position forever, especially if you choose to prepare and educate yourself right now from a place of self-love instead of desperation or scarcity.
“I've been there, I fucked up, I've had tons of money saved and spent it all. I've racked up the credit. I have been there, done that. The only thing that you can do is to start educating yourself and then just start changing your behavior around finances. With finances, it's 20% knowledge and 80% behavior.”

“Like it's going to hurt as a bride, but it's also gonna hurt as a vendor. And so really, in this time of almost chaos, being nice to each other and kind of stepping into someone else's shoes during this will be huge.”
Today on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am sharing another interview from the Connection Thru Chaos Series, this time with Sarah Leta. Sarah works both in-person with her clients and online to create the wedding of their dreams. She also does some work for fundraisers, so she has seen both sides of the way the pandemic is affecting businesses.
One thing that has been HUGE in Sarah’s business is working with her clients to reschedule their events and working with vendors in hopes of being able to salvage some, if not all, of her clients’ deposits. If you’re one of those people that did have an event scheduled and had to cancel, or may have to cancel, Sarah suggests reaching out now to reschedule and to just be flexible. This is unforeseeable circumstances for all parties involved and everyone is doing their best to survive and go about life and business as normally as possible.
One reminder to take with you is that this is a time and opportunity to choose kindness. Yes, it is stressful for you and whatever plans you had made for the year, but it is also stressful for the businesses you may be working with, who are likely trying to keep their heads above water. Put yourself in their shoes and find some help to reschedule things, like by hiring a planner or asking a friend or family for assistance. I know it feels like the end of the world right now, and those emotions are valid and you SHOULD feel them. But remember we all really are in this together, and to get through this we need to work together.
“It was a huge opportunity to not let my ego and go oh, my God, this is my fucking money mentality get in the way of kindness and respect and appreciation for those people who are dealing with these fucking shit shows right now. So like being super kind to these vendors goes so much further in my opinion, then screaming your head off at them.”

Every person I speak to has his or her own unique story of when and how this pandemic hit them, and each is so distinctly beautiful and different. So in this Connection thru Chaos series, I want to give people the chance to share their firsthand accounts. In this episode, we’ll hear from one of my favorite people on the entire planet, Ms. Sarah Howard.
Sarah is a Sustainable Living Coach and primarily teaches sustainable living to empower her clients to take control of their food, take control of their pockets and ultimately become self-reliant.
Her experience as the pandemic was starting to unfold is a bit different than others’ accounts I’ve shared so far. The situation didn’t really hit Sarah at first and it took a while before everything started to sink in. She remembers feeling disbelief when she went to the grocery store for the first time and saw nearly empty shelves where essential products like toilet paper, canned and boxed food and even cleaning supplies usually sat. After having a mini panic attack right then, Sarah realized she had to work to keep herself from taking on the same panic and fear everyone else was feeling.
As she slowly stopped having such a lack mentality, Sarah started to be grateful for the benefits of her sustainable lifestyle. She realized that the empty shelves didn’t affect her as much since she already knew how to come up with alternatives for toilet paper, for example, and already had tons of canned fruits and veggies on-hand.
This is why now is the perfect time to consider adopting Sarah’s program of sustainable living. Sustainable living allows you to rely more on yourself to repurpose things or grow food, for example, than to rely on a grocery store, retailer or other people. You achieve greater independence by honing your existing skills and learning new ones.
So if you’re ready to get involved with sustainable living, find something that you’re interested in and just try it. Keep in mind that this will be a learning situation, so it’s OK if you make mistakes or even fail. You will learn from those experiences in the long run. That’s why sustainable living is one great answer to the common question: “How can I get more prepared if a crisis like this happens again in the future?”
The hard truth is, sh*tty situations happen in life, but we can empower ourselves to be more prepared when they do. So I encourage you to start trying new things now. If you encounter an obstacle or an energy block, rest, allow yourself time to process things, and then get back at it when you can.

Every person I speak to has his or her own unique story of when and how this pandemic hit them, and each is so distinctly beautiful and different. So in this Connection thru Chaos series, I want to give people the chance to share their firsthand accounts. In this episode, we’ll hear from Spiritual Life and Business Coach, Ms. Lauren Eliz Love.
Lauren is the founder of Business Babe, a company that teaches female entrepreneurs how to transform their businesses by transforming themselves. She is a wife, a dog mom, and a spiritual woman who loves houseplants and personal development.
Being a coach during a pandemic is difficult. More than a few of us have had to pivot and run our business a little differently. One important tip from Lauren, though, is to make sure you don’t identify solely as what you do in your business. Instead, learn how to really identify who you are so you can have a healthy relationship with your business AND a healthy relationship with yourself.
In addition, it is important to remember that it's okay if you're having a hard time right now. First, allow yourself to feel those feelings instead of refusing to admit that they're even there. You cannot solve anything when you're feeling resentful, disappointed or frustrated.
To every woman who feels like she can't get a grasp on anything at the moment or is stressed out and triggered by everything that's going on, know it’s perfectly understandable to have those kinds of emotions, and even feel angry. After all, it's not like you can get off your a*s just like that and think positively.
So during this challenging time, be gentle with yourself. Rest when you're feeling tired, don't fret when you don’t feel like doing anything at all and give yourself permission to do whatever feels right.
Seasons of winter such as this will always be there and they will always show up in your business. Right now, we're in a really dark season but what's most important is that we all learn from this.

Every person I speak to has his or her own unique story of when and how this pandemic hit them, and each is so distinctly beautiful and different. So in this Connection thru Chaos series, I want to give people the chance to share their firsthand accounts. In this episode, we’ll hear from Conversion Copywriter and Messaging Expert, Ms. Kate Dramis.
Kate helps online entrepreneurs write copy to sound more dope so that they can connect with their ideal clients more deeply and grow their business in both income and impact. Kate remembers things really changing when she came back from her Mastermind and realized everything was going into lock down and she still needed groceries! She remembers feeling very disconnected and misaligned.
Kate also mentions how being an extrovert during this time is challenging. She lives alone with her pets, and she loves her pets, but she misses the connection with people. Getting on Zoom calls or Facetime with friends and family have been very helpful for her.
For Kate, one beautiful gift about this time is being able to take the time to re-evaluate your business. It has also really allowed business owners to get scrappy and go back to their roots and remember where they came from. Maybe as you’ve grown and scaled, you’ve done a lot of launching for programs and backed off of one-on-one coaching, but now may be a great time to go back to that if you need to generate revenue. Or perhaps now is a great time to create a lower-ticket offer to let people get to know you and trust you, so later down the road they’ll feel comfortable purchasing a higher-ticket item.
You can look at this experience as a negative or a positive one. This time is giving people the opportunity to be creative, and the opportunity to show up, serve, and lead. Keep asking yourself what is triggering you and how you are working through it, and share those helpful strategies! Lead people through it. Be that light and hope for your community.

Every person I speak to has his or her own unique story of when and how this pandemic hit them, and each is so distinctly beautiful and different. So in this Connection thru Chaos series, I want to give people the chance to share their firsthand accounts. In this episode, we’ll hear from Manifestation Life and Business Coach, Ms. Ashley Gordon.
Specifically, Ashley helps coaches master the craft of coaching as they step into their calling and create their businesses. You could even say that she’s obsessed with helping fellow coaches become the best they can possibly be.
When this crisis unfolded, Ashley had just come home from a real estate conference with her husband, who works in the real estate industry. When her husband soon got really sick, they worried he had the virus. The family didn't take this possibility lightly, especially Ashley who had to pull herself together after going into a dangerous downward spiral. But she soon realized now is the time to serve others and the perfect opportunity to step up and be a leader.
When asked the question on whether to continue with a planned launch right now, Ashley points out that we are the ones who create our own abundance so it doesn't really matter if there's a pandemic or not. We're still creating our reality.
That doesn’t mean we don’t have worries. The current landscape that we're in will make us think about things like the direction of our economy, the direction of the coaching industry, and what steps we should take in our business at the moment.
But what you should realize through this entire uncertain process is that YOU have the power to still live an abundant life. You are a co-creator of your reality, so stop taking everything that you already have for granted and start forging the reality that you want.
