This week we speak to Warren about how Alcoholics Anonymous saved his life and how grateful he is for attending those meetings in his early sobriety from alcohol addiction.

We speak about what he learnt and how he still uses those tools today, even though he no longer attends meetings and his reasons for not going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings anymore.

We talk about "geographical" alcoholics and how jumping from Chef job to job while drunk and high was what active addiction looked like for him. We also talk about geographicals to other countries and understanding that it doesn't matter where you run to - addiction will always follow if you haven't done the work.

He shares how he is now in therapy, 3 years into his sobriety, to help unravel his past and growing up with an alcoholic father.

We spoke to Heather, who is currently 9 months and 20 days sober this week. After being a lifelong binge drinker who "lived for the weekend", she finally decided to call it quits, after one embarrassing moment to many after her son's birthday.

We take a look back at the moments that led her to give up alcohol and that brought her to her personal sober tipping point where drinking was more painful than getting sober. We discuss how amazing sober holidays are and how they compare to drunken holidays. It was great to chat with Jamie this week about his 9 months and 15 days sober and evertyhing he has realised over that time. From the managing his own ego to using the Sober On A Drunk Planet books to help keep his sobriety in check.

We talk about how Jamie used the death of his Father as fuel to stay sober and create a life he could be proud of (instead of turning back to the bottle). Jamie shares how time with his son and family have changed for the better since getting sober and we talk about how facebook reminders is a great way to stay sober!

He talks about how giving up alcohol has vastly improved his ability to work, having been promoted since turning sober, how he has lost over 2 stone and lifts all the weights now he has all the time and energy from getting sober.

Anxiety and being present, are two major benefits of being alcohol-free and we dive into how each one has changed since we gave up alcohol for good.
