On this weeks episode of One For The Road i am joined by Sophie Hutton-Mills.Sophie grew up in South East London. She was the youngest of a large chaotic family. Sophie describes herself as a heavy social drinker in her 20’s and 30’s working in London. She discovered alcohol when she was 20 and her father died of a heart attack whilst they were on a day trip together. Sophie’s drinking became a problem after she had her 2 daughters in her late 30’s. She was drinking in secret and it slowly spiralled out of control. Sophie shares how she navigates a sober life having also lost both her sister and Mum to cancer and her beloved brother to suicide.
