But for the most part the epic and fulfilling moments in our lives come from intentionality. While there is often much planning around the time from Thanksgiving to Christmas and the holiday season overall, there is seldom intentionality and it feels like every year finds more and more people performing a tradition of obligation more than celebrating a time of actual joy. The season is rife with expectations and “shoulds” and it can often leave you wondering if anyone actually enjoyed it. I surely won’t be so arrogant as to offer a die hard solution. But I’ll offer some ideas and insights that have worked for me and others. And sometimes it helps to simply get honest about what is driving you, even if you don’t decide to change a thing. I’m going to follow along my seven key areas of life, with an addition, and what tends to drive us during the holidays, and help reveal what drives you, so you can course correct the circumstances and/or your mind.
