Eric Adams is not your ordinary politician. Born and breed in Queens, NY, as a teenager he suffered a brutal beating by police that changed the trajectory of his life forever. Believing he could change things from the inside, Eric served as an officer and Captain in the NY transit and NYPD for 22 years. Then went on to become a democratic state senator and since 2013 serving as the first black Brooklyn Borough president.

While holding office he has been creating programs to help his community understand health and wellness not only from a practical stance but a holistic one. Implementing meditation in schools, Meatless Mondays initiatives, and opening discussions that help his communities to look introspectively about ways to improve their mental state and wellness, a rather non-traditional route to political leadership.

In addition to that, he’s enacted a massive change by going completely plant-based and healed himself by reversing his diabetes entirely. He has become an advocate for plant-based eating and a pivotal voice of encouragement that you can in fact heal yourself. Please welcome Eric to the show.

Daniel Young is a self-taught yoga teacher that began his relationship with yoga 20 years ago at the age of 19. He learned and practiced with teachers from all over the world, while suffering ongoing injuries from a major car accident he incurred at 14. Daniel was drawn to yoga to heal misalignment in his physical body and he was determined to overcome his mind to continue his love of being active, especially his love for surfing and the ocean. Daniel’s major injuries breaking his right leg so badly it required 4 painful knee operations, suffered ongoing back problems and a 4cm difference between his left and right leg. But he was determined to not let fear keep him from living the life he wanted.

Since then, Daniel has established ITSA LIFE Yoga teacher training with his partner Randi in Bali including Asana, meditation and most of all pranayama and kundalini healing breath practices.

At the age of 38, Daniel has never been more free of pain and incorporates his love of the ocean though surfing practices to overcome fear and become better in touch with the flow of life. He is more flexible, completely injury free and remains 100% passionate and committed to sharing his experience to as many people as possible who are truly ready to shift their lives away from fear, pain and suffering.
