Squatter...Just the word itself conjures up a stereotypical image of a dirty person looking to inhabit a property. But the laws around squatters rights are more complex than simply someone who refuses to move out of your house. 

With rental markets getting tighter, and people are facing the harsh reality of losing their homes at the end of their fixed rate mortgages, there are concerns more Australians will turn to squatting rather than face the alternatives.
