He spent much of his career as a sneaker designer for brands including Reebok, for which he created the iconic Fury; and for Nike, who mysteriously dismissed him after he passed 40. Now he is unleashing his unbridled creativity designing Yeezys with Kanye West. He tells us about his passion for all kinds of design, how the arrival of the Walkman changed the sneaker industry, and why he races his VW Beetle but simply drives his Porsche.
