One of the biggest challenges with supplements is that there are SO many out there and it’s next to impossible to understand and figure out the right ones to take. Enter Joint Health PLUS. The main active ingredient is clinically proven to protect joint cartilage from breakdown during exercise, which is huge for me as a runner. It’s also clinically proven to reduce joint pain, joint stiffness, and improve joining flexibility in 7-10 days. I can tell you that this product is backed by real science and it’s legit. Since starting Joint Health PLUS, I’ve (Nat! AND Jerold is starting to take them too!) felt so good on my runs, especially after coming back from an injury. Previnex also offers a 100% money back guarantee, where if you don’t feel tangible benefits, you get your money back no questions asked. Pretty amazing and use the code "suiterun" for 15% off your first purchase. You can thank us later ;)

  • 90 | Mobile Bay, AL with Sam Yeager-Allen: Running Along the Gulf of Mexico

Let us know what you think of this conversation

We are so happy to welcome Sam Yeager-Allen to the Suite Run Podcast!

Sam is a runner, a CPA, a wife and a new mom. She lives on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay in Alabama. Sam is a 12 time marathoner (and a 4 time marathon winner!) with a 2:49 PR, but prefers shorter distance races. She has run almost 200 races in the last 15 years and holds 9 Alabama individual age group state records. She has a masters in tax accounting from the University of Alabama and has been working as a CPA in public accounting for 15 years. She and her husband, Richard, have one human child and too many animal "babies" to count ... goats, chickens, pigs, ducks, a dog etc., you name it, they've probably got it! Sam loves to be outdoors, especially on the water, which makes living on Mobile Bay in Sweet Home Alabama even sweeter!

We chat about Sam's running journey and life with her sweet baby boy (with the coolest birthdate!) and then in the second half of the conversation, Sam shares all about her gorgeous hometown of Mobile Bay, AL! From beautiful running routes to a jubilee (find out what that means in our conversation), you'll be ready to pack your bags and check out what makes Sam's town a special place.

    Enjoy our conversation!

  • 89 | Anchorage, AK with Michelle Baxter: Running in the Land of the Midnight Sun

Let us know what you think of this conversation

We are so happy to welcome Michelle Baxter to the Suite Run Podcast!

Michelle Baxter—also known as The Runner’s Plate on social media--is a sub-3 hour marathoner, mom of two boys, running coach, and a morning runner who runs without music but does like to listen to podcasts while on the treadmill.

Michelle and her family currently reside in Anchorage, Alaska, but will be moving in just a couple of weeks to Minnesota, which is where Michelle grew up. Her and her husband are making a big switch in their careers and will be taking over the family farm of corn and soybeans.

Michelle and her husband spent the last 15 years in Anchorage. She worked at the local running store (Skinny Raven Sports), coached with the Raven Run Club, and did a lot of Alaskan things over the years. It was not uncommon for Michelle to see a variety of wild animals on her morning runs: moose, coyote, lynx, eagles, sandhill cranes, along with other species.

Michelle shares her inspiring running journey in the first half of the conversation and then we chat all things ALASKA, including Michelle's favorite places to run (bring the bear spray!), great places to dine out in Anchorage, fun races and so much more.

  • 85 | Portland, OR with Peter Bromka: Running in the Rose City

Let us know what you think of this conversation

We are stoked to welcome Peter Bromka to the Suite Run Podcast! Peter has made a name for himself in the running world with his prolific writing and gutsy marathon performances.

Peter attempted to qualify for the Olympic Trials (2020) THREE times and one of those attempts was an oh so close, 2:19:02 (the standard for men in 2020 was 2:19:00) in December 2019 at the California International Marathon. Peter's grateful attitude, true love for the sport and the realization that the marathon owes you nothing, are some of the reasons why people love Peter.

In this fun conversation, Peter shares his extensive journey in marathoning and in the second half of the chat Peter describes the beauty of his hometown of Portland, OR.

Peter is the perfect person to tell the listener the best places to RUN, dine out, hang out, race and more in Portland (which is truly a runner's paradise).

  • 83 | Hopkinton, NH with Ali Feller: Running in the Switzerland of America

Let us know what you think of this conversation

Ali Feller has a special gift of drawing you in with her vivacious storytelling and cheerful, glass half full attitude. Ali is a runner (she broke six minutes in a one mile race at the beginning of the year, hello!) , entrepreneur (specifically THE host of the Ali on the Run Show and race announcer extraordinaire - as in the Boston Marathon, the NYC Marathon and many other races!) and most recently, Ali was given the most distinct honor of presenting a TED talk (how cool is that?). Ali has grown the Ali on the Run Show into one of the most listened to running podcasts in the world, and she's just getting started! Ali is also mom to Annie and Ellie (Ellie is her dog who is very equally part of their family) and wife to Brian.

Together they live in the gorgeous New England town of Hopkinton, NH, where Ali has taken a full circle moment and come back to the adjacent town where she grew up.

New Hampshire is a slice of paradise and Ali shares the best places to RUN, where to grab a great meal (and ice cream!), drinks, where to race, places to stay and all the things in New Hampshire (including an incredible state fair that has us sold on coming to visit). But first, we kick off the first half of the chat, talking all about the footprint that Ali continues to make on the running world (and beyond). Are you guys ready for this?!

We know it is safe to say that this is THE most delightful, engaging and fun conversation that Jerold and I have ever had at 5:30 AM.
