Apple PodcastsAndroidRSSVicki Augustiniak lives in Troy in the state of Michigan in the USA. She initially grew up in Inner City Detroit as the oldest of nine children, her father’s drinking issues made life at times challenging for the family something she has never forgotten. Her school days in a Catholic environment is where she learned about overseas missionaries and their work walking in the footsteps of Jesus, it was those profound experiences then, that led to her decision to do something similar hence her life today traveling to different parts of the world wherever Christ takes her.
In 1972 she became a nurse a decision she has never regretted, her experience working in numerous sections of the health system has enriched her life both professionally and spiritually. It is these facets of her life that form the core of who and what she is today, but more so why she does what she does today.
Vicki has been married to Rick for more than fifty years, she has two grown up children and six wonderful grandchildren, who outside the realms of traveling for Christ to support those less fortunate than herself and writing, keep her busy.
So, what is this third book in the series ‘Really, God’ about, well let’s get a sneak preview below.

The Book
The series is about the experiences of one woman’s willingness to follow Christ wherever he leads.
This is the third book in the ‘Really, God ‘series, following on from her spiritual exploits in Bangladesh and South Africa. Twenty-three chronologically laid out chapters set out Vicki’s undertakings in Guatemala, this time to build well sites to provide clean fresh water to some of Guatemala’s poorest mountainous communities. Of course, being a retired nurse, she brings some of her medical expertise to carefully set-up clinics. What Vicki encounters along the way enriches her own beliefs in God and on numerous occasions throughout the book you see her sense of gratitude to God for her lifestyle in comparison to what she sees unfolding before her eyes as she criss-crosses Guatemala. Faith, adventure and a determination to follow Gods’ calling are at the heart of this book and series.

The Book
The opening gambit on the front cover of the book really does summarise the overriding backdrop to the story of Nick and his late father’s close but in many respects distant relationship. You might feel what I have just said a contradiction in terms, yet when you read the book, you’ll see why I have said that. At times this father, son relationship incorporated around a game of golf is quite touching.
So, what is the opening ploy!
“Golf can be a tough sport.
The ball doesn’t always end up where we aim.
The same is true in life.
In both instances, the most important shot is the next one, as a father and son discover as they navigate the back 9 together.”
There are twenty-three short, punchy, concise and endearing chapters to this book, to whet your appetite with a snapshot view of those chapters, here are the titles.
On the Move
New Beginnings
Golden Sand
A Night to Remember
Adapting
Long, Winding Road
Let’s Get on with It
A Time for Thanks
Superman
Back to Normal
What Might Have Been

Apple PodcastsAndroidRSSLeon Lowe would describe himself as an author of many talents across a variety of genres, he has to date written thirty-six books with another seven in the pipeline. When you look at his work, you’ll see that he cleverly blends sci-fi with fantasy, thriller with comedy and adventure with romance. When you delve into his books, you’ll quickly realise the varied topics that he touches upon from education, criminology, healthcare, media, journalism, religion, spirituality, poetry, mediation plus a whole plethora of other topics. Apple PodcastsAndroidRSSRoselyn Teukolsky was born in Johannesburg in South Africa, where she graduated from the University of the Witwatersand with a B.Sc. in Maths and Chemistry. She emigrated at the age of twenty-three to the United States and soon found herself graduating from Cornell University with an M.S. in Mathematics Education. Roselyn is married with children and grandchildren. For Most of her life she taught Maths and Computer Science mainly at Ithaca High School in Upstate New York. Since retiring in 2009 she and her husband Saul used to split their time between Ithaca, New York State and Pasadena in California. Nowadays Roselyn and her husband Saul a professor of Physics have opted to stay in California having forsaken the beautiful New York State winters. I do wonder however if the Bridge games are better on the West Pacific Coastline.
Roselyn is also the author of ‘The Barron’s Review’ book for AP Computer Science, which is presently in its thirteenth edition.
So, what can we expect in this second book of ‘The Madeline Geiger Thriller Series’ from Roselyn Teukolsky? Well let’s take a sneak preview.
Check out our video chat here!
The Books
The first thing to point out is, that yes, the storyline is a series around the main characters especially Madeline, but the story within each book is very much on a stand-alone basis.
The Fourth Woman
Book Two of The Series
An intense thrilling story wrapped up in fifty-eight fast-paced enthralling chapters awaits your attention here. Madeline Geiger is a cybersecurity expert, extremely adept at keeping foreign unwanted cyber-attacks at bay. However, her personal life is a complete roller coast ride. This complex woman is exactly that, complex! For many a straightforward relationship around love, sex and friendship is one of life’s great privileges, but not Madeline. Her Professional life is just as chaotic. The story kicks off with a ransomware attack on her own computer that which not only puts her files under siege but her life and her mindset too. A new online date Vincent, a neurobiologist by profession is another complicated character thrown into the melting pot, his labyrinthine of characteristics that he has been given would put anybody with a balanced mind on guard. What dark science lurks behind Vincent’s Lab door? Who is Stalking Madeline from behind the screen and equally in her own life? Oh! And to compound matters her mother’s onset of dementia is becoming a real issue threatening to turn Madeline’s life upside down.
So, for me this dark thriller weaving digital sabotage and psychological suspense into one heck of a plot is simply a must read.
In the interview we will focus on the following chapters, one, two, nine, ten, fourteen, fifteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-seven, thirty-eight, forty-five, forty- six and fifty-two. By then you’ll have sufficient armoury to consider buying the book to see the full extent of what the book must reveal, who is the attacker, the suitor and what dark concealments skulk behind the door of Vincent’s lab. Hmm….
A Reluctant Spy
Book One of The Series
Forty-nine chapters of exhilarating, spine-tingling narratives all beautifully woven with unexpected twists and turns is what you can expect from this high-action thriller debut book from Roselyn. The energy and pace with which the storyline is foretold is staggering. A dead husband, a brilliant hacker, the FBI, a secret world of shadowy sex and money all set against the backdrop of an academic framework. Madeline Geiger’s life has stalled following a skydiving accident with her late husband. Who she thought he was and who she discovers he was through spying for the FBI couldn’t be more opposing. What of the Co-workers who worked alongside her late husband, and who’s the killer lurking close by in this tight- knit working environment? What do they hope to gain from their clandestine activities. Hmm…
Want to know the whole story? Well, you’ll have to buy the book.
Is there a third book coming!!!
Oh yes!
What’s the title!!!
The last Donor
And the Plot!!!
We’ll have to wait and see.
Only Roselyn knows the narrative here, all she will say is that Madeline finds herself heading for more trouble.
Enjoy the books everyone, I did for certain.

Beyond the operating room, he has been a lifelong student of Scripture and in 2003 that following took on a new meaning as he converted to Catholicism.
For the past fifteen years Dr Jeyaraj has focused a lot of his energy into the rich spiritual heritage of the church particularly the writings of the early fathers, the wisdom of the mystics and the pensive theological viewpoints of the saints. From his investigatory findings his first book in thisseries ‘The Word in Their Voices’ was published in July of this year. The aim of this book and the series is to highlight the heartfelt beauty of Christian heritage in a modern approachable style.
Dr Jeyaraj lives in Singapore with his wife and three children, not forgetting Cosmo the family cavapoo. When not operating or writing, he enjoys reading a good science fiction book, a game of chess and of course cheering on his favourite football teams. He enjoys an eclectic ensemble of musical tastes especially songs that carry an ethical message of truth and meaning.

There are ten sectors to this book, or would you say chapters hmm…, possibly. Could you describe them as ten areas of powerful considerations of spiritual guidance for the modern world, yes. Could you describe them as significant environments of poetic writings with underlining scriptorial content, yes. Are the writings in this book set out in such away inviting the reader to encounter venerated Scripture as a living drama as opposed to mere written passages from the bible’s past, yes. How you view the contents of this book I leave up to you once you have read it, you might agree with me or not but read it.

The Book
Why the title of the book ‘The Warrior & The Dragon’ you might well ask? The reason is simple; Jason the main protagonist takes on the configuration of both, giving him a split personality which allows him to achieve his objectives. What he accomplishes as a warrior and what he fulfils as a dragon is quite revealing.
For those of you that love a blend of science fiction and fantasy this first-time book of Rusty’s will be ideal for you if you’re looking to add a new author to your collection. This thrilling book contains sixteen glorious chapters that will take you to another space as the characters and story engage with your wildest imaginations.
Weary from the Succession War, Jason seeks peace in Smoky Springs. Tasked with delivering an athame and unlocking his inner magic, he is pursued by Erlender, a necromancer who covets the Kalasha he carries. He meets Akela, a wolf who can take on a human form. Akela assists Jason to transform into a dragon. In his dragon form Jason accomplishes things that he is unable to do so as a man, such as protecting the community from kidnapping attempts. Jason teaches his people how to protect themselves especially from evil sorcerers from the beyond. Cold whispers from chilling windsafter six years of endeavours leave Jason in a compromising position. What is that scenario? To find that out, with all the spills and thrills that form the backdrop to this fast-paced book, you’ll simply have to get the book to discover who did what and when.

Apple PodcastsAndroidRSSBill Boushka was born in 1943 and raised as an only child in Arlington Virginia in the USA. His primary educational years where in his words ‘good,’ he enjoyed music especially the piano though he struggled with social integration. Bill’s later years in academia saw him expelled for coming out as gay in 1961. Despite that set back he went on to graduate and earn anMA in Mathematics. In 1968 he was drafted into the U.S Military which for him brought about a whole new set of issues around forced same-sex dormitory and housing accommodation. While considerable progress has been made with regards to sexuality in the U.S Armed Services with society adopting a more conciliarity tone, many areas of gender identity still need to be addressed both in and out of the Armed Services especially around transgender persons and women’s bathrooms spaces. Bill’s own experiences growing up as a gay man lie at core of his writing, so let’s give you a heads-up as to what you can expect from his work.

The Book
This is the third book in the series under the prefix of ‘Do Ask, Do Tell.’ The universal theme of the series looks at self-direction and distinctive accountability and how these principles apply to gay rights, equality and of course free speech. While the other two books focus on their own areas of concerns and involvements that have impacted Bill and the wider gay community over time, I really want to focus on the third book.
The book is in two parts, Part one headed up Non Fiction comprises a prologue and six nonfiction chapters about problem areas, with the recreation of a variety of incidents at various stages of the author’s life. The sequence of events isnot chronological as in the other books. Part two is headed up Fiction and comprises three short stories written at different times, the first story written in 1969 is around Bill’s own fictionalised account of what he experienced in the military with regards to Basic Combat Training then. The second written in 1981 relays the story of two former college roommates reuniting via a road trip through countryside heavily ruined by coal strip-mining. And the last story written in 2013 talks about a bizarre road adventure coupled with acceptance of an ‘instant family’ scenario, like it or not.
