Malcolm Gladwell is a Canadian journalist and author of five other New York Times bestsellers — The Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers, What the Dog Saw, and David and Goliath. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of TorontoTrinity College, Toronto and has been on the staff of The New Yorker since 1996. Gladwell's books and articles often deal with the unexpected implications of research in the social sciences and make frequent and extended use of academic work, particularly in the areas of sociologypsychology, and social psychology.  Gladwell has been included in the TIME 100 Most Influential People list and touted as one of Foreign Policy’s Top Global Thinkers.
