Episode 182 comes off the back of a month of major athletics wall to wall! Kyle is fresh from a jolly to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and as well the Athletics Trust Scotland launch we talk all about the heroic Scottish performances there and at the Worlds in Eugene.

Closer to home we've got the Scottish Senior Track Champs in Aberdeen as well as results across Scotland over the past few weekends.

Not much running for us, Tommy is heading towards a new world of excuses bingo and Kyle has the seeds of a race target in mind.

Tommy and Kyle line up ultra runner Mike Raffan who has an amazing story to tell when something wasn't quite right with his heart. We also ramble about his ultra experiences - ranging from backyard ultra, tunnel ultras and races across the length of Wales.

The race directors keep coming with Ross Cairns joining us to talk all things Campus 5K! Ross previews (sorry a technical issue meant we get this out later than expected) what is one of the fastest 5K races in Scotland which features an electric field; and also talks about his role as a coach with the exciting development seen out of Inverness over recent years.

Kyle is back from Austria with a story to tell about his latest outing at the Mozart 100, he’s been race directing at the latest Moray Way series, Tommy is back in Scotland and we’ve got British track champs and Euro off-road results to catch up on.

In Episode 179 we're catching up with friend of the show and race director of the Podfather Stirling 10k Lewis Millar to hear all about the latest edition of one of Scotland's best and most well known road races.

Lewis chats about whats in store for the 2022 running of the Stirling 10k as a nice tease for listeners planning to put that into their calendar in Autumn.

Kyle is heading to Austria for the Mozart trail marathon with usual coyness about shape but keen to represent well, while Tommy is preparing for the end of #TommyInParis.
