The 7 Ways: 

1. We knew they were a narcissist from the beginning, but we chose to ignore the red flags 

2. We think we'll be the one to fix them 

3. We have an obsession with figuring them out 

4. We do everything we can to control their behavior and get them to act in a certain way 

5. We try to become whatever the narcissist wants 

6. We keep going back, give ourselves away, and blame them for our choices 

7. We only see ourselves as the victim and don't take ownership of the dynamic  

Recovery from narcissistic relationships starts when we are ready and able to admit to #7.
