They also talk about Dan’s time in combat, the pain of getting blown up by an IED, and when movies don’t get the details right. Later, Adam asks Dan about his glass eye, and Adam talks about Dan’s pragmatism as a politician. Up next, a musical interlude from both John Hiatt and Graham Parker. Adam and Dr. Drew open the show discussing hydroxychloroquine and the media circus that erupted when President Trump said last week that he was taking it prophylactically to protect himself from Covid-19. The conversation expands to illustrate Dr. Drew's extreme frustration with the media coverage on the subject and their statements that border upon practicing medicine in the press. Drew then goes on to discuss some studies coming out of China and how their results fly in the face of the directives we are applying in California.
