- Describe the situation.
- Assert your request clearly.
- Reinforce why it matters.
6. PLEASE: A way to keep your mind and body balanced:
- Accumulate positive emotions.
- Build mastery by doing things you’re good at.
- Cope ahead for tough situations.
- PhysicaL illness: Take care of any health problems.
- Eat: Maintain a balanced diet.
- Avoid mood-altering substances: Stay away from alcohol or drugs that can make emotions worse.
- Sleep: Get enough rest to feel refreshed.
- Exercise: Move your body regularly to boost your mood.
