  • The Gift Hidden in Busy Seasons

    Hello my love,

As we close this four-part podcast series on rest, I’ve been thinking about how God weaves every part of our lives together — the planting, the growing, the harvesting, and the resting.

In this week’s episode, I share how rest doesn’t mean stopping everything. It means quieting our hearts, slowing our thoughts, and remembering that peace is found in His presence, not in our productivity. But first…

    * You’re in a busy, transitional, or emotional season.

    * You long to experience peace and joy even in the middle of your to-do list.

💭 A quiet reflection while you listen:

Where can I invite more rest and peace into my days — not by doing less, but by trusting more? What would change if I believed that rest is holy work too?

🙏 A prayer to carry into your week:

God, quiet my heart and still my mind.Help me find You in the middle of my busyness and remind me that peace isn’t something I earn, it’s something I receive.Teach me to rest in You, no matter the season. Amen.

  • When Faith Awakens Something More

    Hello my love,

These past weeks have been intense for the whole entire country.

In today’s episode, we’re reflecting on how God calls us to live boldly in our faith, step into our callings, and stop being lukewarm in the life He’s given us.

Note: I think regardless of whether or not we agreed or disagreed with Charlie Kirk or in part, I think his death really ignited something in many hearts. I have seen a ripple effect that I’ve not seen in a while in Christians, in people who felt like they couldn’t speak before. Let’s talk about that today. But first…

    * you feel stuck in lukewarm faith, hesitant to speak truth.

    * if you are unsure how to integrate God fully into their everyday life and work.

💭 A quiet reflection while you listen:

How am I holding back from fully living out my faith? What calling or mission has God placed on my heart that I’ve been afraid to step into? How can I invite Him into every part of my day, big or small, and trust Him as my guide?

🙏 A restful prayer to pray:

God, help me live boldly in my faith and step into the calling You’ve placed on my heart. Guide me in every part of my day, and let my words and actions reflect Your love. Amen.

  • Rest isn’t a luxury—it’s holy 🌿

    Hello my love,

This week on the Catholic Life Coach Podcast, I’m sharing something that God placed so clearly on my heart: the truth that rest is not a luxury. It’s holy.

Over the summer, I took a step back from the podcast.

I rested, spent more time with my family, and let God show me what He wanted for this next season.

And in prayer, one word kept rising up again and again: rest.

This month, I’m beginning a brand-new series called The Rest We Deserve.

🌿 P.S. If you haven’t yet, make sure you subscribe to the podcast! You’ll get my free Priorities Printable plus updates on retreats, coaching, and encouragement for your journey.

In today’s episode, we’re exploring why rest isn’t lazy or indulgent. It’s God’s design for us. From creation to Jesus’s ministry, rest has always been part of the plan.

🎧 This episode is for you if you’ve ever thought:

    * “If I slow down, I’ll fall behind.”

    * “Resting means I’m not being productive.”

    * “I’ll rest later… once everything is done.”

💭 A quiet reflection while you listen:

If God Himself rested on the seventh day, what makes you believe that you shouldn’t?

    🙏 A prayer for you:

Jesus, teach me to trust that slowing down is not wasted time. Help me release the pressure to always be producing, and show me how to delight in holy rest with You. May my rest renew me so I can love and serve with joy. Amen.

My love, the world wants us to believe that rest is a luxury, but the truth is rest is essential. It’s where we reconnect with God, refuel our hearts, and remember who we are in Him.

Thank you for being part of this community. I can’t wait for you to listen, and I’m praying this episode gives you the freedom to embrace rest with peace and purpose.

With love and gratitude,Karla, Your Catholic Life Coach 💛

  • 10 Ways to Bring More Joy Into Your Day 🌸

Hello my love,I’ve been discerning and I believe God is inviting me to rest in Him this month, and to be more present with my family.

So, I’m taking a much-needed break from my beautiful podcast.

But don’t worry. This pause isn’t the end.

I already have plans for a beautiful new series to relaunch in the fall, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

In the meantime, I’ve selected some encore episodes I know will bless you right where you are.

🌿 P.S. If you haven’t yet, make sure you subscribe to the podcast! You’ll get my free Priorities Printable plus updates on retreats, coaching, and encouragement for your journey.

    This week’s episode…

I want to talk about joy—real, everyday joy that sticks, even when life feels… well, messy.

I’ll admit something upfront: I’m not naturally joyful all the time. Even growing up in Venezuela, where most people seem to radiate happiness, I’ve had my fair share of days where I focus on what’s missing instead of what’s good. Yes, my brain loves to do that thing it does.

But here’s the thing: joy is a skill. It’s something we practice. And God gives us so many little tools to help us do it.

In this episode, I share a few of my favorite ways like how simplifying your schedule can actually give you more peace than a week at a spa, and why doing something kind for someone else instantly boosts your happiness.

🎧 This episode is for you if:

→ You want to feel more joy in your everyday life→ You struggle to notice the blessings around you→ You love practical, faith-filled tips that actually work

💭 A quiet reflection while you listen:

What small change could you make today to notice more of God’s blessings and feel a little more joy?

🙏 A prayer for your heart:

Lord, thank You for the gift of today. Help me notice the blessings around me, simplify what I can, and find joy in the little moments. Teach me to trust You and share Your love with others. Amen.

🎧 I can’t wait for you to hear it and maybe even laugh at the weird dream I had about meeting Jonathan Roomey (yes, Jesus in The Chosen! 🤦‍♀️).

With all my heart,Karla, Your Catholic Life Coach 💛

    This week’s episode…

What if you could step outside your comfort zone—your “cave”—and embrace the discomfort that comes with pursuing your God-given callings?

What if you did it afraid?

From my own journey and what God taught me, I talk about how our brains are wired to keep us safe and comfortable. That safety can sometimes hold us back from the life and purpose God is calling us to.

    🌸 Why push through discomfort?

Fear is a natural part of growth. It doesn’t mean you have to back down! I’ll share how to balance trusting God with actively participating in the journey He’s called you to.

God is calling you to a great mission. He invites you to show up, take risks, and pursue the dreams He’s placed on your heart.

🎧 This episode is for you if:

→ You feel afraid to take action but know God is calling you to more→ You want to trust Him more with your life’s callings→ You love hearing personal stories of others who’ve struggled and grown

💭 A quiet reflection while you listen:

What is God calling you to do… right now? How can you surrender more to Him today?

🙏 A prayer for your heart:

Lord, thank you for the gift of my life. Give me courage to step out in faith and trust You. Lead me into the deeper callings You have placed on my heart. Amen.

Remember, without God, we can’t—but without us, God won’t. Let’s embrace our roles as co-pilots in the miraculous journey of life! ❤️

  • Abundance: Cultivating Joy and Generosity Now

    Hello my love!

Something shook me deeply this week, and it reminded me—again—that our lives are not meant to be lived waiting for “someday.”

In this week’s episode, I’m sharing a deeply personal story about fear, surrender, and what happened when my daughter was suddenly rushed to the hospital. I’ll walk you through the moment I got that phone call, how God spoke to me in the hospital room, and what I now know to be true: we are not meant to live our lives according to fear.

We are not meant to live our lives according to fear.

This isn’t just my story. It’s a wake-up call for all of us who are waiting to feel 100% certain before taking bold, beautiful steps toward the life God is calling us to.

Subscribe so you never miss an episode! You'll also get my free priorities printable and updates on events like the Radiant Soul Retreat in Assisi. ❤️

🎙️ This episode is for you if you’ve ever wondered:

    * How can I stop letting fear or uncertainty dictate my decisions?

    * Is it irresponsible to follow my dreams when the path feels unconventional?

    * Can I really trust God with the desires of my heart?

💭 Here’s a reflection question to think about while you listen:

What dream or calling have you been putting off… waiting for the “right time,” perfect clarity, or permission?

    🙏 A prayer for you:

Jesus, help me release the fear that keeps me small. Give me the courage to trust the desires you’ve placed in my heart and to step boldly even when I can’t see the full path ahead. Remind me that you walk with me, always, and that I am never alone in my holy ambition.

My love, stop waiting for the moment you feel ready. Take the step now. Say yes now.

The dream in your heart isn’t random. It’s placed there by God, on purpose, for a purpose. Say yes to it. He will meet you there.

Thank you for being part of this beautiful community. I’m cheering you on!
