If you’ve been blessed with a good life and you think you’re not messed up enough to work on yourself, this episode is for YOU. 

A lot of women say to me that they don’t have enough trauma to work on themselves. 

But you don’t need some crazy shit to have happened to you for it be trauma. We have ALL experienced trauma. 

Trauma isn’t the thing that happens to you, it’s what happens INSIDE of you. And it all goes back to childhood. 

If you felt sad, lonely, scared, rejected, unloved in ANY way, that’s trauma. And if you don’t deal with that shit, it will deal with you.

Scan your life right now. Take a good look at your mind, your relationships, your body, your bank account. 

Where is your lack?

Are you showing up as a fully expressed version of yourself?

Or are you afraid to put yourself out there? Too scared of what people will think if you really showed them who you are. 

Is your mind at peace? Or is it juiced up on fear and negativity?

If you’re unhappy in ANY area of your life, THAT is something to work on. 

What’s the point of buying fancy cars and eyelashes if you’re MISERABLE?

Invest in your mindset. This is your invitation to level up!

Shout out to all you women out there pursuing your business.. even if your partner thinks it’s just a hobby!

When I first started my business, my husband didn’t believe I could do what I’m doing now. 

It wasn’t because he didn’t believe in ME. It was because we had two kids and he knew how risky it would be to start a new business.

If you’re in the same boat, my bet is you’re feeling frustrated, lonely, angry and like you need some validation. 

I talked about this on Instagram recently and had SO many replies from women all over the world telling me their partners didn’t support them. 

But you know what?

Your partner doesn’t have to be your cheerleader. YOU have to be your own cheerleader. 

To create what you want to achieve, YOU have to live in the risky future and believe that you can do it. 

Don’t rely on other people in your life to do the believing for you. 

Fill your own cup. 

Beyonce it up, and back yourself with your own independence. 

You got this!

Are you investing in yourself? 

I don’t mean buying handbags and getting your nails done. I mean, are you investing in your mindset, your behaviour, and your thinking?

Are you investing in healing your trauma?

Because NOT investing in yourself is actually costing you. It’s costing you time, money, and above all, happiness. 

If I didn’t spend money investing in myself to work through my shit, I would not be where I am today. It’s totally worth every cent and I spent A LOT of money! Over $150,000 over 8 years. 

You may balk at this price tag but without that investment and all of my hard work, I would still be angry, bitter, and cynical. 

Every dollar I invested, I have made back in double. 

But the most important thing is how unbelievably happy I am in my life. 

What’s the point of having an expensive car, a big house, and fancy clothes if you’re miserable?

How much is your happiness worth to you? 

When you don’t invest in yourself, it will cost you somewhere else. 

If you don’t have what you want and you’re not happy with an area of your life (love, work, relationships), what’s holding you back from working on it?

Don’t tell me you’re saving for it to happen later - NOW is the right time. 

The only person holding you back is YOU.  Help is out there and you need to prioritise yourself to achieve everything you want.

I live in Melbourne, the most locked-down city in the world. It’s been hard and strange and a wild ride that’s for sure.

Whatever your thoughts are on lockdowns or vaccines or any of that, I wanted to have a conversation about what to do when you don’t agree with someone. 

People are losing their friendships, jobs, and family relationships over disagreements about this topic. 

We have to learn how to truly understand each other, even when we disagree. 

This is so important to me because we are living as people divided -  not because of covid, but because we don’t know how to disagree. 

Everyone has an opinion about the best course of action when it comes to the best course of action and everyone is right.

Try to catch yourself making judgements about others. Reflect on WHY you react the way you do. Why are you getting triggered?

When we come from a place of compassion and kindness in our conversations, we can begin to repair the disconnection and separation in our world. 

It’s possible to hold space for people who disagree with us and still be kind.
