  • Episode 48, Season 2: Don't Let Attachment Style Confirmation Bias Sabotage Your Relationships
Why do you keep finding “proof” that your partner is pulling away or can’t be trusted? In this episode, host Dr. Sarah Hensley and co-host Raina Butcher explore how Confirmation Bias shapes your relationship reality through the lens of Psychology and attachment theory. Your attachment style—anxious, avoidant, or secure—acts as a filter, influencing what you notice, how you interpret behavior, and the meaning you assign to it.

We break down how these patterns reinforce themselves: anxious attachment scans for rejection, avoidant attachment looks for reasons to disconnect, and both can create self-fulfilling cycles. You’ll learn how to recognize these cognitive blind spots, challenge automatic assumptions, and shift toward healthier, more secure relationship dynamics.

  • Episode 42, Season 2: Beyond the Alpha Mindset: The Psychology of Self-Awareness and Success with Dave Rossi
In the latest episode of The Dr. Sarah Hensley Show, host Dr. Sarah Hensley and co-host Raina Butcher are joined by entrepreneur and strategist Dave Rossi to explore the psychology of success through the lens of self-awareness, attachment, and emotional intelligence. Challenging the typical “alpha male” narrative and the traditional concept of masculinity built on dominance and competition, Dave shares a philosophy rooted in inner work, accountability, and psychological growth. The discussion includes how attachment theory, relationship patterns, and self-awareness influence leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal fulfillment, and why sustainable success is less about outperforming others and more about understanding yourself. This conversation dives into psychology, personal development, authentic leadership, and high-performance mindset, offering a powerful reframing of what it truly means to succeed in both relationships and business.

    About Dave Rossi
Dave Rossi is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, coach, and author known for blending personal transformation with leadership and mindful living. Early in his career, he built and led successful companies, generating multimillion-dollar revenues, yet he found external success hollow without inner fulfillment.

The death of close personal friend in 2012 resulted in a downward spiral that led to divorce, loss of business and home, and health deterioration - and prompted a deep life shift that now informs his work as a teacher and author. He is also the CEO of CIQU Construction and speaks on topics like conscious leadership, emotional mastery, and what he calls “The Omega Man” — a model of success rooted in self-awareness rather than aggressive achievement.

Dave is the author of The Imperative Habit and Alphas Die Early, available on his website.

  • Episode 40, Season 2: Choosing Safe Support in a Saturated Coaching Market
The world of relationship coaching, particularly attachment theory, is becoming an increasingly saturated market - and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But if you're searching for help, it means you should do your homework.

In this week’s episode of The Dr. Sarah Hensley Show, host Dr. Sarah Hensley and co-host Raina Butcher explore how to choose safe, ethical, and effective support in today’s saturated coaching market.
