Launching on a Wednesday! I've been swamped with shoots and weddings for the past few weeks, so although a tiny bit late this week - here we are!

Desiree "Desi" Wodicker is a 2x US Champion, Straw Weight Muay Thai Fighter. She is not only an exceptional athlete, but also has her own intricate story with trauma, relationships, and parenting. 

In addition to training to fight at the highest level Desi works fulltime and is a parent and a partner. I wanted to bring Desi on the show and chat because she has such an amazing story and a humble way with words that is both palpable and real.

Desi and I discuss her relationship with her father and mother growing up and how that played into her adolescent and adult life. A near death motorcycle accident and witnessing a traumatic death at a young age. How she has grown as an individual, fighter, mother, and partner over the years. We also discuss how her personal development around vulnerability and openness have helped her in all aspects of her life.
