On this weeks episode, I welcome Helena Rose Durst, Principal at the Durst Organization. In this fantastic interview, Helena shares with us her experience growing up in a real estate family and how that ultimately helped shape the way she thought growing up. Helena also shares with us how the company makes a concerted an effort to build green and how many of their buildings have been LEED certified and what the process for that is. At the end of the interview, she also shares with us some advice for anyone living in a real estate family and how much she truly appreciates working alongside her family members.

On this week's show I welcome Steven Kachanian and Adam Hajibai of Klosed Properties, a family-owned, vertically integrated real estate firm specializing in the acquisition and management of well-positioned commercial properties in the New York Metro area and in select markets nationwide. On the show, Steven shares with us how he got started in real estate investing and what ultimately made him decide to move from brokerage to investing.
