On this weeks episode, I decided to use a panel that I took part in that I think will be very informative to all aspiring investors and people looking to get into real estate. This panel discussion goes over commercial leasing with some of the top names in New York City real estate, giving listeners an inside look at what to look for with leases, tips and tricks that benefit all sides of a transaction, as well as some other great information!

On this week's episode I welcome CEO and Founder of Urban Pacific Group, Scott Choppin. Urban Pacific Group is family oriented development firm based in Long Beach, California that specializes in residential and commercial properties. In this episode, Scott shares with us that visiting construction sites early on in his in life made him realize that the physical aspect behind building wasn't exactly what he wanted, but it was the developer side that ultimately led him to where he is today. Scott also shares with us how growing up in a real estate family didn't ultimately push him to get involved, but it was lessons along the way in his childhood that helped him realize that real estate development was his passion. On this week's episode I welcome Managing Partner & CEO of the Ardent Companies, Matt Shulman. Tune in to learn about Matt's upbringing in Detroit and what ultimately led him to decide that law school wasn't the best option for him moving forward. Matt shares with us how he moved up through the real estate world and how a pair of brothers in 2006-2007 handed him the chance of a lifetime when they were opening up a new shop and offered to give him $30-$50 million to buy assets. Amit shares stories of how teaching tennis lessons in Greenwich while still attending Tufts University gave way to his passion for architecture and design. He shares that early in his professional life, he had a lot of energy, but couldn't find his passion in order to use this energy. This fantastic interview gives listeners an in-depth look at his connections, how he landed on his feet and some of the projects he is working on now.

On this week's show, I welcome close friend and Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Wonder Works Construction, Eric Brody. Tune in to hear this amazing and insightful discussion in which Eric shares with us his life story of entrepreneurship, running gyms in New York City as a young 21-year-old, and what lessons his father instilled in him to get Eric where he is today.
