With 10+ years experience, Tamara's career has allowed her to travel through most pathways and sectors of the beauty industry, which lead her to self-found the Beaute Industrie community in April of 2018.

Vicky Rugg is an award winning eyelash technician based in Essex. Her passion for lashing has inspired her to train others and build her own brand, which has been successfully growing since 2010. For 13 years Tussanee, along with her husband Paul, grew Integrity Lash into a 7-figure salon that was recognized as the premiere lash salon in Southern California. Now Tussanee and Paul host the award nominated podcast LashCast Podcast. Along with their co-hosts, Erika, the crew aims to educate and uplift lash stylists. Tussanee and Paul also speak at shows like ISSE Long Beach and IBS Vegas and recently launched LashCon, the first ever business focused only lash conference which will be taking place in Pasadena, CA on Oct 19-21, 2019.

Episode 24. My name is Carl Hinder and I am the ‘Business Coach’ and owner at Salon-Help.

I started to formalise my salon coaching in 2015 after working with salons on a less formal basis for many years. When I had my own chain of salon’s I realised that there was no one to turn to when you needed a bit of advice, no one to bounce your ideas off, find that extra motivation when it mattered or just wanted to change direction. Even when I had great salon teams and fabulous managers it still often felt lonely, I would have given anything to have had a business coach or mentor.

I developed many of my skills and much of my knowledge from my background in retailing, working at management level with three of the largest retailers and some of the best people and mentors in the UK. The move away from the corporate sector was perfect for me, and as I opened more salons’ I realised that you can apply well developed business skills to any business. It’s the same planning, people and communication skills, and above all else passion, no matter what your business is.

When it comes to Salon business coaching, I know my background makes me hugely different form most coaches in my sector, I might be the right match for you if you are 100% committed to succeeding. I have never yet found a business that would fail, only salon owners not prepared to succeed. I will help you develop strategy and structure, but the rate of change is fast.

I can come across as demanding, but that’s because I only want you focused on your success. I have done so many things over the years that help me, to help you.
