Nicola Clinch is a Master Maturation Facilitator and Teacher, Hay House author, and Shamanic Healer. She leads people from all over the world through profound life-changing processes, allowing them to heal from the root, become free of their past, and come home to who they truly are. A leading expert in the field of ontology, human behavior, the human condition, trauma, and energetic intelligence, Nicky is ruthlessly committed to being a space for human beings to evolve beyond their childhood patterns, traumas, and generational stories, in order to mature, access higher states of consciousness, and discover their infinite potential.
She founded and leads The Alchemy of Being: Academy of Maturation Coaching and has trained hundreds of people globally to become professional maturation coaches. With her pioneering teachings and practices of the BodyMind Maturation Method™, she integrates ancient wisdom, Zen mastery, and the future of human evolution.
In this chat, Nicky emphasizes the importance of becoming conscious of the design and structure of the human condition and recognizing the blind spots that color our perception of reality. The conversation also touches on the power of choice, the impact of our past on our present, and the ripple effect of personal transformation on relationships and communication, i.e., the purpose of relationships is for spiritual evolution, not to make each other happy.

Dr Pamela Douglas is an Australian GP, researcher, author, and an international leader in caring for parents and babies, with a special interest in perinatal mental health and breastfeeding medicine.
Over the past 20 years, Pam has published the evidence base to the programs known as Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC, or 'The Possums Programs'), translating the research into education programs offering a paradigm shift in the way we help families who face breastfeeding, baby sleep, and cry-fuss challenges. Her groundbreaking work is detailed in 30 international research publications and her best-selling book, The Discontented Little Baby Book.
In this conversation, we discuss how to optimize infant development, parental well-being, and grow joy in early life. Pam emphasizes the importance of experimentation and frequent, flexible breastfeeding in the early days and also discusses the Gestalt method of fit and hold.
In terms of sleep, Pam acknowledges the polarizing nature of the sleep training debate and highlights the need for individualized approaches to sleep based on the unique needs of the baby and family. We also discuss the importance of understanding the biological needs of babies when it comes to sleep, emphasizing that sleep distress in our society is often caused by societal and health system-induced beliefs and practices that are not evidence-based. Pam highlights the variability in babies' sleep needs and advocates for a more evolutionary and intuitive approach to parenting that focuses on meeting babies' sensory and motor needs.

Dr. Lyndsey Hookway is a pediatric nurse, researcher, author, lactation consultant, and advocate for gentle parenting practices. Lyndsey believes that sleep is an art and a science influenced by various factors such as relationships, stress, and social interaction. She challenges the cultural trend of actively managing sleep through non-responsive approaches like cry-it-out methods, emphasizing the importance of communication and responsiveness in parenting.
The amount of sleep a newborn needs can vary greatly, from 8 to 18 hours a day, so it is important for parents to understand their baby's individual sleep needs and cues. Lyndsey encourages parents to focus on the present relationship with their child and make informed choices.
