In today's podcast, I delve into the behind-the-scenes of the purchase of, as I like to call it, my "nature witch cottage" — a 250-year-old home in a town of 100 people in western Virginia. This was a dream many years in the making and there's a lot behind it and I detail it all. I share the financial details, how I got the money for the down payment, the aspects of generational wealth that contributed to the process, purchasing a home as a self-employed person, and more.
This week is all about the money and the process; stay tuned for next week where I'll detail the magic/manifestation/energetic tactics that went into it.
In the podcast, I talked about Ramit Sethi in the podcast but mis-named him, calling him Ramit Singh. You should check out his podcast and book, I Will Teach You to Be Rich.

Hey Soothers! In today's short but sweet podcast, I remind us at the start of the year that all good change takes time. In fact, every major change I've succeeded at, every goal I've achieved, has been 2.5-3 years in the making and I talk about that today and how to nourish the (seemingly too long!) cycles of change in your life, too.

Hey there, Soothers, and happy end of the year. Today I want to expand on something I wrote recently in the Sunday Soother: to explore why gratitude can be very complicated or even impossible right now for some of us, not from a mind-based perspective but from a nervous system perspective that will hopefully give you some understanding of how and why you work and why you are not selfish or broken if gratitude, real, bone-deep gratitude has ever felt nearly impossible for you, even if you have so much.

Hi Soothers! In today's podcast episode, I talk about the concept of dominating and improving and fixing the self, vs. stewarding and tending to and nourishing the Self. This is a bit more musings on my recent Sunday Soother essay, We Don't Own, We Steward, which you can read here.
Owning means trying to "fix" ourselves so we can be something "more" — more efficient, more productive, skinner, "prettier", etc. Stewarding means we nourish what we've been given, honoring its truth, helping it realize its full potential, but from an energy of love, care and respect for what is.

Hi Soothers! Soothe, my year-long mastermind for highly sensitive women, closes for enrollment on December 22. There are six spots left; is one of them yours? Book a call here to find out. And today, to help you learn more about past participants' experiences in Soothe, I have on Hilary and Afua, who were in a small group together in Soothe last year.
We talk about the joy of finding other highly sensitive women and being in community for them in a year (or longer; like others, Afua and Hilary's small group continues to meet now); the relief and insight the Soothe program gave them; and we talk about the power of archetype work, including Hilary's archetype, a Soothe favorite, Diana Bowie - a mix of Diana the Huntress and David Bowie (trust me, it makes sense when you listen). Afua took a work sabbatical a few years ago, and Hilary started a work sabbatical while in Soothe, so we touch on quitting jobs too and what that's like. Enjoy this conversation!
Wondering what it's like to join Soothe, the year-long experience, and what the small groups are like? This week's discussion will give you deep insight.
Wondering if Soothe is right for you? Read more about Soothe at catherinedandrews.com/soothe and book your discovery call with me there. Soothe is open for enrollment until December 22.

Hi friends! This week, my year-long group coaching program for highly sensitive women, Soothe, opens to the public for enrollment. And to celebrate, I wanted to bring you an interview with some of the members of last year's Soothe!
This week, we have a roundtable interview with most of the women who made up the Thursday small group from the 2022 round of Soothe. Lynn, Jamie, Page, Blythe and Martha come together to share what being in Soothe was like for them; why they joined; the healing power of the small group vulnerability; the wisdom they developed, and learned from the other women; and their favorite parts of Soothe. (And much love to Carolyn and Lauren, who were als in this small group but couldn't make this interview).
Wondering what it's like to join Soothe, the year-long experience, and what the small groups are like? This week's discussion will give you deep insight.

If I know anything about my Soother audience, it's that you love to set you some goals. And I'm with you! Goal-setting is one of my talents. And, at the same time, as I've delved more deeply into alignment, energy, and connecting with my heart's desires, there are some things about goal-setting I've discovered that can actually be blocking us from achieving our heart's and soul's desires.
In today's episode, I'm delving into the difference between setting goals from your ego, and setting goals from your soul and heart's truth; how this can impact the goal achieving process; how to know if you are setting a goal from ego or from the heart; and share personal stories of when I was setting goals from ego and how I've moved more into heart-centered goal-setting.

Hey Soothers! As you might know, I'm wrapping up 90 days off alcohol (and caffeine and gluten as well). I've talked about this previously on the podcast and written about it on the Sunday Soother newsletter, and today, I invite on past Soother guest and all around delightful person Jillian Anthony, who recently did six months without alcohol, for a conversation around this topic.
Jillian and I share our previously complicated relationships with alcohol, what made us both decide to do these extended periods of sobriety, tips we used to navigate this time without alcohol, how or if we plan to return to alcohol, and lots more.
Jillian runs a wonderful newsletter and podcast, Cruel Summer Book Club, about exploring change and living well. You can also find her on Instagram @jillathrilla.

Hi Soothers! Have you ever heard about energy work, energy clearing, grounding or protection and wondered exactly, uh, what it is, how it works, and how you can start doing it? Today your questions are answered, as I have a lovely, in-depth interview with Missy Toy Ozeas, an energy worker and intuitive I work with on a regular basis and who teaches energy work and protection methods to highly sensitive people and empaths.
Missy and I dive into what exactly energy is; how you can clear and protect your energy; what an energy worker can do for you; how, when Missy is working on me and my energy in DC, from her place in California, how that works and what it looks like. It's a very cool and practical episode that explains how this intangible and hard-to-describe process of energy healing really works.
