  • 173: How to get more time in your life (and this isn't about productivity hacks)

Remember the episode I did earlier this summer about how to get more of what you want in your life? (Episode 170, if ya need to go back and listen.) Well, I think the approach I talked about works for something all of us want more of in our live most of all: time.

In this quick hit episode I talk about how to get more time in your life, and it has nothing to do about prioritization, calendaring hacks, or productivity. Tune in for a unique take on manipulating, bending, and experiencing time totally differently in your life (with my special dusting of magic, as always).

Ready to go deeper into your growth, self-discovery, and healing journey? The waitlist for Soothe, my mastermind for highly sensitive women ready to live unapologetically, is now open in my bio. • 172: 90 days off alcohol, gluten and caffeine: How I'm doing it and why

Hey Soothers! Today I'm sharing a goal I am embarking on starting September 1: Going three months without alcohol, gluten or caffeine. I talk about why I'm doing it (reasons include PMDD, anxiety, health, and oh yeah, maybe some magic?) and how I plan to do it, and am sharing all of this here for some extra accountability and support around this! I'm not doing this to try to "cleanse" myself or be super restrictive, but more as a continued exploration of the substances in my life that do not serve me and how I end up being in a spiralic journey of on and off with them and how I can continue to deepen into the belief that I get to feel good and not ingest things that don't support me in my feeling good. I don't by ANY means think anybody else needs to do this kind of adventure — if there's one thing I've learned in life it's that self care, especially health and diet, are singularly unique for each person — but in case you're curious or been thinking about this kind of stuff too, listen in.

  • 167: My training: How I Made My First $50k as a Highly Sensitive Coach and Business Owner

Hey Soothers! I'm excited to share with you the audio of a free training I recently did, How I Made My First $50k as a Highly Sensitive Coach and Business Owner.  In the training, which is about 90 minutes (and it takes a few minutes to get going, so you might want to fast forward a few),  I  share the 5 offers I had my first year, how much I charged for each of them, and how much money I made on each of them.

Then, I share the 6 daily practices and shifts I made to learn to sell and earn money.

Then, I share 10 steps you can take in your first year to make money as an HSP biz owner.

Finally, we did a live exercise together that will help you map out YOUR first $50k and see that this is a possibility for you, too.

Ready to go after this training?

Secretly Ambitious is now open for enrollment! We close August 1.

  • 165: The dangers of permission-based culture, and when it makes sense to get certifications

Hi Soothers! Today I talk about something I get asked a lot as a coach: certifications and if you need them or not in coaching. I talk about the dangers of permission-based culture; when it DOES and DOESN'T make sense to get certified (in anything, not just coaching!); and how to know if you are searching for permission out of a need of approval and safety, or because it feels really right and good to you for where you are in life right now.

  • 164: Answering your biz Qs: Overcoming perfectionism, fear of judgment, goal-setting, "boring" logistical stuff in biz and so much more

Hi Soothers! Today I do one of my favorite types of podcasts, a wide-ranging listener Q&A. I asked for your Qs about becoming a biz owner and life coach and you delivered! In this episode I answer about certifications and if they are or aren't necessary; how to overcome perfectionism and fear of judgment in starting a business; goal-setting in business; some tips on boring logistical stuff I either was glad I did or definitely wish I'd done; and lots more.

I answer about 8 questions on today's podcast but if you want the real dirt, I'll be answering about 20 more Qs on a Secretly Ambitious wait-list-only video. Sign up at the waitlist to hear me answer Qs about running a business like health insurance, how to hold space; how to create boundaries and routine when you work for yourself; pricing; and lots more.

I also created a brand-new free guide 20 Business Prompts for Any Wannabe Entrepreneur, available only to waitlisters, so get on over there!

Ready to exit the 9-5 system that's not working for you and build a way of working for yourself that's values- based, authentic, and will help your mental health? The waitlist for Secretly Ambitious, the 12-week business course for highly sensitive people who want to start their own business but don't know how, is now open! By signing up for the waitlist you'll get $100 off the course when it opens in July.
