Every week, I read my Sunday Soother newsletter as a bonus podcast episode. In today's episode, I discuss the are the four dominant types of self-care energy I see brought to play that don't work because they only leave you feeling more burnt-out, broken, ashamed, or empty. Sometimes I refer to these energies and the acts of self-care that stem from them as “dirty” self-care, the kind that we’re doing because we’ve been made to feel bad or dirty for who we are. Then I guide you through questions and reflections that will help you learn how to actually nourish yourself.

Today I'm sharing the audio from my recent live training, Anxiety vs. Intuition: How to Tell the Difference.
Do you struggle with knowing with what you're feeling is anxiety, or intuition? You're not alone. Many of us crave getting in deeper touch with that intuitive knowing, but struggle with anxiety and overthinking, and wonder, when we're feeling something -- is it our anxiety speaking, or a true sign from our intuition? Learning to discern our anxiety from our intuition is often extra difficult in the area of dating. Is something really a red flag (or a green light!) or are we operating from a sense of anxiety and fear? How can we tell?
This training will help you tell the difference. I go over misconceptions about anxiety and intuition; walk you through the ways each *feels* different; then I share half a dozen practical tips you can start implementing immediately to help manage your anxiety and connect deeply to your intuition, today.

Today, I'm exploring the thought process around signing up for my course and coaching that I've had conversations with a few people with, and that I see really block people: "What if it doesn't work?" I explore why this is the wrong question to be asking about anything in life, and suggest some better questions for you to pose to yourself, instead. There's a common saying that the quality of your life is determined by the quality of the questions you ask, and I happen to agree.
