As you may have heard from all of our Life Time ads, the iconic NYC triathlon is coming up! This month, thousands will take to the streets of Manhattan, and the Hudson River, to race in the city that truly never sleeps. To hear more about the course and the culture, Alyssa and Haley welcome Bec Wassner onto the show. Bec has been racing the NYC Tri for 20 years. She was the first New Yorker to win the race, and the first woman to win three races in a row.

Bec describes the NYC Tri as "hilly, challenging, and fair". She gives us the insider's scoop on the swim portion, and how the early morning current works to the advantage of the pros. Alyssa and Haley ask Bec about her race bucket list, and Bec shares what it's like to compete against her twin sister, Laurel Wassner.
