When you look at the financial decisions you've made in the past, do you view any of them as being mistakes? The personal finance space is riddled with rules, guidelines, "should have's" and "shouldn't have's" which leaves a lot of us who make decisions outside of these rules and guidelines feeling like we are doing it wrong. But, are we really making money "mistakes"? Or are we just blazing a different path that doesn't fit into old and outdated personal finance advice?
In this episode of The Money Love Podcast, I'm offering you an entirely new way to look at your past money mistakes. I share all the money moves that I've made in the past that most personal finance guru's would deem "mistakes", but why I choose not to view them that way and how that conscious choice serves me in creating a more abundant financial future for myself. Trust me when I say that this is an episode that will challenge you to view your past financial choices and decisions in an entirely new light. Enjoy!

Your money needs a priority, and it also needs an intentional plan. It needs to be directed and told where to go and the purpose it's going to serve in your overall financial plan. The truth is that most people do not have a plan or priority for their money. They are operating "willy-nilly" using general rules and guidelines and then are left frustrated when they aren't creating the financial results they hoped for.
In this week's episode of The Money Love Podcast, we are exploring a ground-breaking concept that I teach my students and clients, which is having a priority for your money. By implementing this strategy with your money you will always ensure that you can cover your basic needs, meet your minimum debt obligations, hit every financial goal you set for yourself, be saving for future expenses that you know are coming, and lastly using your money on items and experiences that bring fun and happiness into your life. This is an episode that has the potential to change the way you organize and manage your money forever. Enjoy!

Our overall success in building wealth is highly dependent on our ability to delay gratification. To give up what we desire in this moment today for what we want most in the future and to also put the financial well-being of our future self over the fleeting desires of our present self.
Delayed gratification has always been a challenge, but never more so than today living in a world that conditions us to expect pleasure and payoffs immediately. In this week's episode of The Money Love Podcast, we are exploring the topic of instant versus delayed gratification. We dive into what they each are and where they stem from, what they look like within our finances, and why delayed gratification is the better choice between the two and in fact delivers more purpose, pleasure, and happiness into our lives and finances. This is an episode you don't want to sleep on. Enjoy!

How confident do you feel when it comes to money? How assured do you feel in your ability to make it, manage it, and spend it wisely? When it comes to self-confidence with money, many women I work will are on the lower end of the confidence scale. They tell me "I don't feel very confident with money" and allow this belief to hold them back from reaching their full financial potential.
There is a difference between the confidence you feel around money, and the self-confidence that you have in yourself. This is called your self-concept and it is one of the most important factors when it comes to building wealth.
In this episode of The Money Love Podcast, we're getting into the topic of self-confidence. We cover where confidence comes from, the difference between confidence and self-confidence, why so many of us don't have enough of it, and what we need to do to gain faith in ourselves. Don't miss this important episode that's sure to help you unlock your unlimited potential and accomplish anything you put your mind to! Enjoy!

When we people please our way through life we are being dishonest with ourselves and with others. Ultimately, we lie about and hide our true thoughts and desires so that people will see us in a certain way and we end up putting forth a version of ourselves that is inauthentic and building relationships that are built on falsehood.
There is a huge price to pay for people-pleasing. It costs you opportunity by saying "no" to things you want to be saying "yes" to. It costs you time by saying "yes" to the things you want to say "no" to. And then there is the literal cost of people-pleasing with the money that you spend trying to appease another person and manipulate how they feel about you.
In this episode of The Money Love Podcast, we talk about why as women we feel the strong need to people please, explore what it's costing you, and go through four tools and mindset shifts that you can implement in your life so you can stop people-pleasing and paying the high price that comes with it. Enjoy!

How good are you at making decisions? When it comes to picking a path forward do you spend a lot of time and energy spinning in indecision? Or do you make a decision and move forward? When we prolong decisions or procrastinate, we end up with a bunch of unmade decisions hanging over us that are nagging at us in the back of our mind. This is called "decision debt."
Decision debt is costing you time, energy, and money. This is why a quality of successful and wealthy individuals is decisiveness. Join me on this week's episode of The Money Love Podcast where we explore the reasons why we leave decisions unmade and how it zaps the energy from our brain and keeps us stuck.
We will also explore six key mindset shifts you can make about the decision-making process that will help you be more decisive and in turn save you time, energy, and money. Enjoy!
