Today’s episode is co-hosted by Drag Race superfan @Neighbourbecci as we welcome @KendallGender to the show to talk about their experience on Canada’s Drag Race & beyond. We talk about how life is for them now, and how we can help support the drag community in the current misinformation & hate directed towards the community. Kendall is known for being on season 2 of Canada’s Drag race where she placed in the top 3, and then more recently - Canada VS the World.

As a young woman, Georgie faced cancer twice. Her body changed before her eyes, as she was faced with the battle for her life all while being congratulated for her thinness (we know, we’re rolling our eyes too). Diet culture and health intersect in Georgie’s story as she shares the lessons she learned from her fight with cancer, including the ebbs and flows of a body and a purpose BEYOND just losing and gaining weight - while also admitting, it’s not always been so easy. We also discuss the great lack of information around menopause, especially for younger women who have no idea what to expect and how to prepare for what’s to come.

For Jemma’s 15th birthday we took a trip to the not-so-sunny LA, to explore, go to disneyland, and pop into the podcast studio! What was meant to be a quick little segment with Jemma, ended up a podcast where we discussed our time down there, the stuff that freaks us out (like bluetooth….!??!) and Alicia and I are reminded that we’re just ok in the eyes of a Gen Z kid. Jemma brings her dry humour and wit to the microphone today, as we brace ourselves for it all.

We spend the afternoon in her LA home, and deep dive into the person behind the memes. Just who is Violet Benson? The story may surprise you.

A year and a half into marriage, Gabrielle found out her husband had been having an affair with a nineteen-year-old for six months. She then filed for divorce and left. Two weeks later met a man, and fell madly in love. This fairy-tale romance lasted for a month and a half before he convinced Gabrielle to join him on a month long vacation in Italy. But 48 hours before, he told her he needed to go alone. Left heartbroken and devastated, Gabrielle made the decision to go to Europe on her own, journal it, and ended up writing a bestseller “Eat, Pray, #FML”. I discovered Gabrielle as she told her story on TikTok, where she's amassed 1.2 Million followers now invested in her life advice, stories and journey ahead. Gabrielle found how to love herself through really difficult heartbreaks, and joins us today to share her story and a little bit of what she has learned along the way.

One of my absolute favourite online creators is here today sharing all about his lifelong journey to being a Disney enthusiast, expert, and all around fan. We chat about WHY Michael doesn’t just move closer to the parks, along with YOUR QUESTIONS like…best rides, top foods, and what kind of add-ons make a trip extra magical. We also talk about how to experience the magic and see characters WITHOUT going actually INSIDE the parks(!!!) plus how to enjoy the trip when it rains and pours or goes downhill. Plus, an update on my RunDisney training!!
