What's something that all of us teacher sellers have in common? We're busy, busy, busy! Many of these AI tools are beginning to gain traction, and for good reason. This is our first episode of 2023, and we're kicking things off with a collection of 23 TPT seller tips. This list includes some of my best pieces of advice, as well as words of wisdom straight from the mouths of teacher sellers like you.

These TPT seller tips are for both new and veteran teachers, and include a lot of things that I wish I knew from the very beginning of my seller journey. They range from the importance of taking holidays off, to how to know when to unfollow certain TPT sellers on social media, to why you should start an email list, and everything in between.

Do you ever wish that you could get honest feedback about your TPT store from an experienced teacher seller? A store audit may be just what you need! You'll get to learn exactly what a store audit looks like in today's special episode.

This is a unique episode because it's originally from the School of Sellers podcast, hosted by Erin Waters. It's a store audit that Erin did for TPT seller, Jennifer Darrell from La Profesora Inspiradora. Erin and I used to do live store audits together on Clubhouse, and we always had so much fun taking a close look at someone's store and giving them helpful feedback.

It's so important to ensure that your store is cohesive, true to you, and representative of what you want to be known for. Erin is looking at these things and more during this store audit. The last couple of episodes have been a part of a special email marketing series, and today marks the third and final episode in this series!

In case you missed the first two, episode 20 was all about making the most of your email marketing, and episode 21 focused on the difference between a free resource library and individual opt-ins. Creating the right opt in freebie takes a lot of thought and consideration. For example, you don’t want to create a generic opt-in that almost anyone could use. Instead, you want to create one that will attract your ideal customers. This is a big mistake I’ve made in the past (among others!).

Luckily, I’ve made these mistakes so that you don’t have to. I’m sharing my best tips for how to choose an opt-in freebie that attracts your ideal email subscribers, and ideally, future customers!

There are lots of effective ways to build your email list, but what’s the best way for you? Two of the top list-building methods are to use a free resource library or to create an individual opt in.

If you’re wondering which of the two you should go with, the truth is, there are pros and cons to each of these strategies! You are the only one who can decide which fits your business needs the best. 🙌🏼

While I can’t choose for you, I’m here to guide you through the decision making process. In part two of our email marketing series, I’m sharing the pluses and minuses of a free resource library and individual free opt ins.

Regardless of which road you take, they both lead to the same destination…more email subscribers. Once you have people on your email list, you’ll be able to nurture them, support them, and gain their trust - which can ultimately lead to more sales.
