Courage.  

Courage to take action, courage to be brave, to be bold, to be beautifully you, exactly how you are in the here and now.

Courage.

The ability to do something that frightens one, bravery.

To have the courage to say yes to those scary things, and do it anyway.

To be able to stand in the face of worry, maybe a little scared

and to say, You know what...

Life is too short to play small.

And I today have the courage.

I have the courage to take action, to take action towards the goals that I want to achieve, to the life that I want to lead.

No one else, not my family, not my friends, but myself.

The courage to say yes to the really scary opportunities that live sometimes hands to us.

Moving to the other side of the world, doing a skydive, saying yes to going on a live on social media.

Everyone's courage looks completely different, because it's within you, and it's made for you. And when we tap into our courage every single day, we start to step out of our comfort zone. And that, that right there is truly where the magic happens.

Because every time you face the courage, and you use the courage, just like the lion did, in The Wizard of Oz, you get to tap into taking the action.

And you know what brings action, confidence.

Confidence follows the action. Confidence comes from you doing something over and over again until it becomes subconscious within you. You don't need confidence to get started. You know what you need.

You need courage.

So much courage, courage to be you courage to be seen courage to be bold courage to be brave courage to be everything you want to be.

Remember, when you were a child and nothing got in your way, your imagination ran wild and everything you pretended to be you believed you were.

I want you to tap into that moment, tap into that time where you believed you could move mountains.

You believed that you could make people feel a certain way because you still have that within you today, right now. And all you need is courage.

Be bold.

Be brave.

Do what you are here to do.

But most importantly, have the courage to be you!

Lie with me for a moment, and look up to the stars, twinkling in the sky, showing us where to go.

With every star that shines, you see you, shining like the star that you are, the person that you are becoming.

And every time you look up to that night sky, you know that you are following your North Star.

Things might come across your path that starts to guide you away from that star.

But you know, and you feel when that's happening, don't you.

So every time you can bring yourself back to your true north, your true purpose, connection, love, and freedom. And you can follow that North Star, wherever it leads you.

Every time you tap into your intuition, you are listening, you are listening in. And really you're the one who knows which way to go.

You don't need to look externally. You don't need to start searching in other people. Because you know, you will all on this journey. And all you have to do is look within, be within.

Follow your true north, every opportunity.

Everything that comes into your path, you get to decide whether it's yes or no. Whether it serves you or whether it doesn't. And then you get to decide.

I am on my path.

I'm following my path.

I'm following my true north that's where I'm going and no one can stop me and I will carry on every single day.

Because that's my true north.

Look up now.

Can you feel it?

Your true north is calling you that star in the sky that shines so bright and shining for you. It's calling out your name. It's wanting you to follow it. It's wanting you to tap into that every single day without fail.

There is no word such as failure. Everything's a lesson on the way and you know what, every single day you get to follow your true north. That star in the sky go after it.

We live our life through habits. Everyday moving through subconscious motions that allow you to go from activity to activity without necessarily thinking about them. 

A habit is a routine of behaviour that is repeated regularly and tends to occur on a subconscious level. Now some of our habits are good, healthy habits that keep and hold you accountable to achieving great things in your life, however some habits that you are subconsciously doing at the moment are holding you back from success. 

With many of my 1:1 clients I work with habit changes, as habits are truly at the core of everything we do. We change one habit and a lot can shift in our life. It sounds so easy, doesn’t it, but many of us don’t keep track of what habits are working and what habits are not. 

One thing I know for certain, through my own experience that it’s going to be very difficult to reach your dreams if you are living with a list of bad habits. 

Before we dive into some actionable steps today I wanted to bring some destructive habits to your attention. Ones of which, if you are doing, could be hindering your success (and I am saying this from complete experience) 

If you are constantly focused on what others think of you and what you are doing you are allowing no space to hear and listen to yourself. You always have the answers within and a lot of time we don’t allow ourselves to listen in before seeking approval or validation from external factors.  

Are you living from cause or effect? Are you blaming every man and his dog for things that you know deep down you are not doing yourself. Start to remove the excuses and start to take action, see opportunities no obstacles. If you woke up every day seeking the opportunities rather than focusing on the obstacles - life would begin to look very different. 

Yes you might have that big picture, that feels so far away but it actually doesn’t have to be. The subconscious mind needs guidance in where it’s going , it needs clear instructions just like we do when we need to get to a destination we are not sure on. Define the goals, break them down into small bite size chunks - what needs to happen today, this hour, this minute in order for you to get there. 

Wow, and don’t I know it.  The majority of 2020 I allowed everything but my health became a priority, I was the master of excuses in this department. But as I have said many times before, how you do one thing is how you do everything so letting yourself fall into bad health habits such as eating poorly, not exercising or not getting enough sleep will leave you mentally and physically exhausted, stressed and prone to illness. We want to be working at peak performance to achieve our goals and many of my clients goals are to empower millions of people out there - you will not be able to do this when pouring from an empty cup. Self discipline, self worth and of course self love plays a big part in your health - is it time you started respecting yourself more?

1. Self-doubt.

Self-doubt, the feelings and thoughts that kills dreams and keeps amazing people playing small. Negative self talk and a fear of rejection will only fuel feelings of uncertainty and indecision. Is it time that you let go of the habit of self-doubt because of course it is just a habit, a behaviour you do subconsciously. The more you believe in yourself and visualise your success, the more likely you are to succeed. 

There are many other habits that could potentially be holding you back but I am going to allow yourself to find out which ones.

So let’s see which habits are no longer serving us. This could be habits of the past, something we used to do when we were younger or something we have picked up from influential people in our lives. 

Today I want you to make a space in your notes on your phone, write down all the habits you have. The good, bad and the ugly. Remember the first step to change is awareness. Is it the extra chocolate biscuit you have with your cuppa at 9pm, is it listening to the negative self-talk so you don’t apply for that amazing opportunity you’ve been looking at for months or is it not moving your body so you feel constantly tired and not energized. 

Once you start noticing the list I want you to work through these journal questions:

1. What do you consider your worst habit to be? Describe it in detail, including how and under what circumstances you do it.
2. When you do whatever this “worst” habit is, in what ways do you punish yourself? Or do you? How does having this habit affect your life, self worth, self belief?
3. What inner need does your habit fulfill? What ways does indulging in this habit work for you; what are its positive aspects? Think about when you first began this habit. What were its positive aspects then? What did you achieve for yourself by doing it?
4. What is the opposite of your habit? Journal about this opposite quality or habit and what you think your life might be like. Do you feel resistance to your habit’s opposite? Write about the resistance.
5. Write about what your life would be like without your habit. Would you prefer a life without it?

Let's talk about choice.

Because every single day, you wake up with choice, choice of how you feel, choice of the thoughts, choice of how you act and behave.

A choice.

Every single day, in every single way, you have the choice.

The choice to feel something better, the choice to be bigger, the choice to be braver, the choice to be bolder, the choice to be stronger, and every single day, it's up to you.

It really is up to you.

You, you get to choose, you get to change those thoughts, feelings and behaviours, you get to decide.

And today is that day.

Today is the day where you decide to choose something better for yourself better for your future. Better how you show up for yourself, for everyone else.

Choose in a way that is right and natural for you choose in a way that makes you feel on top of the world.

Because you know what?

Every single day you have choice.

It's the only thing that we have every single day apart from our breath, the choice to be happy, the choice to be motivated.

The choice to be empowered, the choice to be brave, strong, bold, powerful. You have the choice and today, I want you to ask yourself, What choice am I making for me?

Because I choose, I choose to be bold. I choose to be brave. I choose to be me. I choose to not listen to the negative thoughts anymore. I choose to leave my path behind. I choose to look at my future with so much excitement, so much success.

So much of me. And it's happening and it's here and it's now an I choose it and I know that I get to choose.

I get to choose every single day. No matter what's happening. No matter what my external world is giving me.

I get to choose.

Am I happy? Or am I sad?

I get to choose that because every day I have the power.

So what's it going to be?

5. Reduce or eliminate the addiction to approval.

• Define what you want and pursue it.

To stand in your beauty, to stand in your power and let people see you shine.

Because you are enough, you have always been enough and will always be enough.

So if you're listening to this today, I want you to know deep down inside your heart.

You are worthy.

You are worthy of everything coming to you. You are worthy of everything that has been. You are worthy of everything that is entering your life right now.

And it's time, it's time for you to arise.

These are my values. These are my goals. These are my dreams.

I'm here to move mountains. I'm here to change lives. I'm here to make the world a better place and I will live into that every single day.

Because I am worthy. I am enough.

She is me and I am her and I am ready.

I've always been ready. I was born ready and today is the day that I arise and I say I am enough.
