Carlos Reyes came to the country illegally as a little boy and was raised by a single mom. His mom worked 2 jobs both paying $8.25 an hour to raise 3 kids. He later became a US citizen, thanks to his mother’s effort. He then decided to quit a 14 year corporate job in 2015 to pursue the dream of building his own Real Estate investment company. As a real estate investor, do you view Opendoor as a competitor or someone that you can leverage to your advantage? See, Opendoor has a very specific system that they follow on every single house they purchase. It misses one key element that we can capitalize on and Opendoor will never be able to match, human interaction. Opendoor's system is to have the motivated seller enter their information into their website and then wait for 24 hours to speak to a real person. That being said, investors should always have the advantage over Opendoor when it comes to solving motivated seller's problems and ultimately buy their house.
