  • Chad Daybell Blames Lori Vallow for EVERYTHING, Now What?
As the saga of Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell continues to unfold, many are left pondering the depths of their actions and the motivations behind them. The latest developments, discussed in detail on the "Hidden Killers" podcast with host Tony Brueski and guest Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor and president of West Coast Trial Lawyers Association, shed new light on the complexities of the case.

Recently, a significant turn of events occurred when Chad Daybell, facing the death penalty, flipped on Lori, accusing her of manipulating him. This development raises questions about their allegiance and the truth behind their horrific acts. Rahmani, providing his expert perspective, isn't surprised by Chad’s move, emphasizing that "when you're handling death penalty cases as a defense lawyer, you're really trying to keep your client alive."

The discussion delves deeper into the dynamics of capital defense cases. Rahmani explains that death penalty-qualified jurors tend to be more conservative, often making it challenging to secure not guilty verdicts. This context paints a bleak picture for Chad Daybell’s defense, especially in light of his recent accusations against Lori.

Reflecting on Lori Vallow Daybell's case, Rahmani criticizes the prosecution for dropping the ball on their discovery obligations, which led to the death penalty being taken off the table. This mishandling of the case raises concerns about the pursuit of justice and the responsibilities of prosecutors.

Rahmani then addresses the peculiarities of Lori’s trial, where she refrained from mounting a substantial defense, limiting her attorneys from making a mental health argument. Her bizarre, rambling statement during sentencing further casts doubt on her mental state. As Rahmani puts it, "She seemed loopy... clearly didn't want her lawyers to put up the best defense that she had."

Turning to Chad Daybell’s upcoming trial, Rahmani predicts a starkly different approach, with Chad’s defense likely to cast blame widely. He anticipates that Chad’s attorneys will portray Lori as the primary culprit, in stark contrast to Lori’s trial, where she sought to protect Chad.

The discussion then shifts to the broader implications of Chad’s trial, particularly its potential influence on Lori’s forthcoming trial in Arizona. Rahmani speculates that Lori might adopt a different trial strategy in light of Chad's betrayal. "She may come out swinging and not hold the line like she did in Idaho," he suggests.

Rahmani also touches upon the decision to allow cameras in Chad’s courtroom, a move that contrasts with Lori’s trial. This decision will enable the world to witness the proceedings, adding another layer of public scrutiny to an already high-profile case.

As Brueski and Rahmani wrap up their discussion, they touch upon the human aspect of this tragic case. "My heart breaks for those kids and anyone that had the misfortune of having to run into Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell," Rahmani concludes, reminding listeners of the real victims in this disturbing saga.

The "Hidden Killers" episode leaves us with an unsettling question: As the Daybell case continues to unravel, revealing the layers of manipulation and deceit, can we ever fully comprehend the depths of evil present in this case? And more importantly, what does this say about the human capacity for darkness and delusion?

  • Convicted Murderer Lori Vallow Alleged Mastermind Behind Child and Rival's Murder Conspiracy, Claims Co-Conspirator's Attorney
Lori Vallow, the convicted murderer already serving three life sentences without parole, has been labeled as the "driving force" behind the conspiracy to kill her children and her romantic rival, according to allegations made by her alleged co-conspirator's attorney, John Prior.

In three court documents filed on Thursday, Prior asserted that Chad Daybell, Vallow's fifth husband, was under Vallow's control and manipulated by her. He further claimed that Vallow groomed her late brother, Alex Cox, to carry out the murders of her children, Tylee Ryan, 16, and J.J. Vallow, 7, as well as Chad Daybell's first wife, Tammy Daybell. Prior went as far as to suggest that Vallow "handed her son off to be killed by Alex."

The grim discovery of J.J.'s intact body buried in a garbage bag near Tylee's burned and dismembered remains on Daybell's Salem property shocked the nation on June 9, 2020. That same day, Chad Daybell was arrested and has remained in custody at the Fremont County Jail since then. It is believed that the children were murdered in September 2019 and buried on Daybell's property shortly afterward. Tammy Daybell met a tragic end due to suffocation in her Salem home on October 19, 2019, according to court records. Just two weeks later, Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow tied the knot in Hawaii.

John Prior's legal motions are aimed at striking the death penalty from Chad Daybell's case, based on the argument of relative culpability. He asserts that Vallow's influence on Daybell was substantial and that Daybell should not face the same punishment as Vallow. Prior cited statements from the state indicating that "Lori manipulated Chad through emotional and sexual control," and "Chad was not going to act without Lori saying so."

In a second filing, Prior emphasized that Vallow remained in charge of the conspiracy throughout and argued that the state should not present theories of relative culpability that differ from Vallow's trial. Failure to do so, Prior warned, could result in "unreasonably disparate sentences" for the co-defendants, violating the Eighth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

In a third filing, Prior claimed that Daybell was unaware that requesting a speedy trial could help him avoid the death penalty. Vallow declined to waive her right to a speedy trial, and additional evidence introduced shortly before her trial led to the removal of the death penalty from her case. Prior stated that Daybell's initial waiver might be called into question if the death penalty is not struck from his case, potentially raising concerns about ineffective assistance of counsel under the Sixth Amendment.

A hearing is scheduled for November 29 at the Fremont County Courthouse in St. Anthony, where the defense, prosecution, and Judge Steven Boyce will discuss the possibility of removing the death penalty from Chad Daybell's case. They may also consider Daybell's request to allow cameras during his hearings leading up to his trial scheduled for April 1, 2024, in Ada County. Monthly pre-trial meetings between all parties are planned ahead of the April trial.

  • Is Lori Vallow Daybell the Definition of Evil On Earth?
Can a person be inherently evil, devoid of the basic human emotions that guide our moral compass? This unsettling question surfaces as we delve into the disturbing case of Lori Vallow Daybell, which has been a subject of intense scrutiny on the podcast "Hidden Killers" with Tony Brueski. In a recent episode, Brueski and Trial Consultant and Body Language Expert Susan Constantine analyze the chilling mindset of Vallow Daybell, whose case continues to unfold.

Governor Brad Little's recent signing of an executive agreement to extradite Vallow Daybell to Arizona on conspiracy to commit murder charges ensures that the public eye will once again be trained on her. "The question is not just about legal fitness to stand trial but about the moral incomprehensibility of her actions," remarks Constantine. The case draws a grim portrait of a woman enshrouded in her convictions so deeply that they've led to heinous crimes.

Reflecting on Vallow Daybell's sentencing hearing, Constantine observed, "It was shocking to watch her demeanor... She really believed it." Vallow Daybell's words seemed to echo a warped sense of reality, talking about her deceased children's jobs in heaven. This behavior strikes at the core of the issue: whether Vallow Daybell is spinning a narrative she believes to be true, or if it is an act to manipulate those around her.

Her involvement in a string of deaths, including those of her children and former husband, has branded her in the public eye as the "Doomsday Mom," a title that speaks to the apocalyptic beliefs she shared with her fifth husband, Chad Daybell. The couple’s beliefs, which included the idea that her children had become "zombies," led to an alarming series of events culminating in the tragic deaths.

Constantine shares a chilling perspective: "There are very few humans on this planet that are just plain evil... I believe there is something that happens to them at the core of their being." The discussion delves into the nature of evil, examining whether individuals like Vallow Daybell are a product of their environment or if their malevolence is innate.

Tony Brueski questions the efficacy and purpose of putting Vallow Daybell on trial again, considering she's already serving a life sentence without parole. "Does it make sense to re-traumatize the families... for someone who's never going to admit their guilt?" Constantine responds with a hard truth: "At what point in time do you just wave the white flag and give up?"

The conversation turns metaphysical as Constantine recounts her own experiences with defendants transforming in front of her, suggesting that Vallow Daybell may be under the influence of a profound darkness. "They don't have those normal feelings like humans have," Constantine asserts. She suggests that this darkness is beyond the realm of mental illness—it is a pure, undiluted evil.

Further exploration into the mind of Vallow Daybell touches on the psychological journey that leads someone down such a dark path. The podcast discusses the possibility of indoctrination and the role of a narcissistic and antisocial personality disorder in shaping a person's psyche to become capable of such crimes.

This article poses probing questions about the essence of evil and the human capacity for change, painting a stark picture of a woman caught in the abyss of her delusions. As Lori Vallow Daybell prepares to face the courts once more, one must wonder, what is the threshold for redemption in the eyes of society, and can someone like her ever cross it? Or is the true face of evil one that remains shrouded in darkness, beyond the reach of empathy and remorse?

  • Why Lori Vallow Daybell Will Never Feel Remorse for Murders
Can someone truly be devoid of guilt in the face of heinous crimes? The "Hidden Killers" podcast with Tony Brueski takes a deep dive into the twisted mind of Lori Vallow Daybell as she faces extradition to Arizona on conspiracy to commit murder charges. The hosts, alongside Trial Consultant and Body Language Expert Susan Constantine, explore the complexities of Lori's mental state and the legal ramifications it holds.

The podcast discussion opens with the impending journey for Lori, whose case has grabbed headlines and chilled the public to the bone. Governor Brad Little's signing of the executive agreement to extradite Lori raises the question once more – is she fit to stand trial?

Constantine sheds light on Lori's sentencing hearing, where Lori's speech about the children and heaven struck many as a disturbing narrative spun by a deluded mind. "I think she believes wholeheartedly the tale that she's spinning," Constantine says. According to her, Lori's demeanor suggested a deep-seated conviction in her own narrative, indicative of a cult-like belief system.

The conversation turns darker as the experts ponder whether Lori possesses any guilt or shame for her actions. "She thinks that what she did was right," Constantine reveals, a chilling insight into Lori's psyche. This poses a profound question for the legal system: does it make sense to try someone who may never recognize their guilt or feel the weight of their actions?

The hosts discuss the nature of justice and what it means for the victims' families. The re-traumatization of these families becomes a central concern, weighed against the perceived futility of expecting any form of remorse from Lori. Brueski reflects, "Does it make sense, though, to re-traumatize oneself again, having to go through all of this with someone who is never going to admit their guilt?"

As the conversation unfolds, Constantine touches upon the nature of evil. She expresses a rare but firm belief that some individuals are just "plain evil," a concept difficult for many to grasp. The discussion extends into the philosophical as they consider the existence of evil as an inherent part of human nature. This brings into question the expectations society might hold for Lori to one day feel empathy for her actions – an expectation that Constantine finds implausible.

The expert’s analysis of Lori’s mental state draws a distinction between mental illness and pure malevolence, suggesting that Lori's actions were not the product of insanity but of an intrinsic evil. Constantine’s perspective challenges the narrative that mental illness is always at the root of such crimes, "She's got mental illness, but I think that she's just plain evil."

As they delve into the future of Lori's legal battles, the hosts of "Hidden Killers" ponder the effectiveness of the justice system in dealing with such an individual. The trial, the pursuit of justice, the hope for remorse – all become questionable in the face of what Constantine describes as a lack of common ground between light and darkness.

In closing, the podcast leaves its audience with a haunting consideration. Is expecting someone who is "doomed" to change a futile hope? Does the quest for justice end at punishment, or is there a deeper need for the perpetrator to acknowledge their crimes and show repentance? With the case of Lori Vallow Daybell, society may have to confront the uncomfortable possibility that some individuals may be beyond the emotional reach of remorse and guilt – a troubling thought that challenges our very understanding of justice and human nature.

  • Teen Found Safe in Alaska: Court Documents Reveal Doomsday Beliefs Behind His Disappearance
Blaze Thibaudeau, the Arizona teenager who recently sparked an international search, has been found safe in Alaska. While Blaze is now out of harm's way, shocking details from court documents shed light on the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and reveal a troubling connection to the Lori Vallow case.

Prosecutors are pushing for the extradition of Blaze's mother, Spring Thibaudeau, and her brother, Brook Hale, to Arizona to face charges related to custodial interference. These developments come after U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents located the group near the Alaska/Canada border.

Blaze's story begins with an early departure from Phoenix Sky Harbor last Monday, accompanied by his mother, older sister Abi, and his uncle, Brook Hale. Court documents indicate that Brook was the leader of the group and shared doomsday beliefs similar to those held by Lori Vallow, who was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of her children, driven by her belief in a Biblical apocalypse.

According to records, Spring Thibaudeau believes Blaze to be a "Davidic messenger," someone destined to play a significant role in the second coming of Jesus Christ. Brook Hale left behind notes for his family, including a list of "Questions for the Lord," which included the query, "Am I one of the witnesses who preaches with Blaze?" Another letter resembled a will, where he distributed his money and belongings based on a dream suggesting the end of the world was imminent.

Blaze's father, Ben, took legal action by filing for a marriage dissolution on October 17, a move prompted by the realization that his son had been taken "against his will." In response, a judge granted him emergency sole custody.

One crucial aspect highlighted in the court documents is that Blaze does not share his mother's end-of-the-world beliefs. Instead, he is said to believe that Spring suffers from a mental illness.

As the legal proceedings unfold, Spring Thibaudeau has a family court date scheduled for Wednesday, adding another layer of complexity to this deeply troubling and bizarre case. The extradition of Spring and Brook back to Arizona will be a significant step in addressing the charges they now face.

Blaze's safe return brings relief to his family, but the case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of recognizing and addressing concerning beliefs and behaviors, particularly when they involve the welfare of children.

  • Do We Really Need to Try Lori Vallow Again?
Have you ever wondered what goes on in the mind of someone accused of heinous crimes, standing unrepentant and seemingly disconnected from reality? The puzzling saga of Lori Vallow Daybell, who is now heading back to Arizona to face murder charges for the death of her former husband, Charles Vallow, presents us with such a conundrum. Dr. John Delatorre, a renowned psychologist, joins Tony Brueski on the "Hidden Killers" podcast to delve into the perplexing psyche of Lori Vallow and the implications of her upcoming trial.

Lori Vallow's case has captivated the nation, as it spirals into deeper levels of complexity and mystery. At her sentencing hearing, Vallow displayed a disturbing conviction in her beliefs, regardless of how detached they seemed from reality. "I'm really just basing it on the last little bits and pieces that we heard from her at the sentencing hearing where she fully believed her... Just as strong as ever," Brueski remarks, setting the stage for a discussion on the mental state of Lori Vallow and the justice that awaits her.

Dr. Delatorre expresses his disbelief at Lori’s statements during her sentencing, highlighting her inappropriate and delusional expressions of being a good mother and her children being in a better place. He challenges the notion that Lori sees herself in a godly light, distinguishing between being god-fearing and being delusional. "I think she views herself that way, but I don't believe that she actually is," he asserts, providing a critical perspective on Vallow’s self-perception.

The conversation shifts to Lori's upcoming trial and the inevitable question: Is she fit to stand trial? Dr. Delatorre raises concerns about the need to go through with another trial when the outcome may not change Lori’s situation significantly, given she is already serving a life sentence in Idaho. He emphasizes the importance of following legal procedures but questions the philosophical aspect of justice in Lori’s case. "If the person doesn't know that what they're receiving is punishment or doesn't acknowledge that what they're going through is punishment, then is the victim in the case actually receiving justice?" he asks, challenging the traditional notions of justice.

Brueski brings in the perspective of the victim’s family, wondering if the pursuit of justice might actually re-victimize them by dragging them through another trial. Dr. Delatorre acknowledges this concern, pointing out that the state has been harmed and has a stake in the prosecution, regardless of the victim's family's wishes. "Sometimes we just need to follow the proper procedure when it comes to an offense occurring with of the laws in that state," he concludes, highlighting the complexity of the justice system and its role in cases like Lori Vallow’s.

As Lori Vallow Daybell heads back to Arizona to face yet another trial, the world watches with bated breath, trying to comprehend the mind behind the madness. Is she a religious zealot, a master manipulator, or a woman completely disconnected from reality? Dr. John Delatorre’s insights shed light on these questions, but the enigma of Lori Vallow remains. As we ponder the pursuit of justice and the wellbeing of the victim’s family, one cannot help but wonder: Is there a point where the pursuit of justice becomes a futile endeavor, poking a stick at a mentally ill individual, or is it our societal duty to follow through, no matter how perplexing the case may be?
