Tips For a Gentle Detox This New Year

Happy New Year, I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. It can be incredibly stressful during Christmas and the holidays so I hope you got through it okay. The New Year is a time for change and a lot of us want to change with some sort of detox, whether that’s cutting out alcohol or carbs or whatever it might be. So today on the show we’re going to be looking at detoxing and some of the wonderful and gentle things that you can do for your health to get you started.

  • For those of us that are living in the northern hemisphere, this is actually a time of year that we're meant to hibernate. We're meant to hunker down and huddle up in front of our warm fires with our bone broth and our veggie broths and, and just reserve our energy to build towards the start of that massive detox in the spring.

  • You're the only person that has shown up every single second of every single day, and that's you.  Your job is to look after yourself. So self care is healthcare. It's not selfish. It's something you have to do because if you don't, you can't look after other people.
